That VAT information is wrong. eBay will only restrict you once they see your turnover hit £85k for the rolling year, the only figures they use are the ones on eBay. They don't restrict you if you hit £60k as you may have other selling platforms, that makes no sense. If they do restrict you, they give plenty of warnings first, and you can even prove you don't need a VAT number (if you temporarily went over the limit, ie 1 big sale)

VAT in UK is a PITA. Here in the US, eBay itself collects sales tax and remits it to the appropriate state revenue departments, so sellers don't have to worry about any limits.

George wasn't the first to ship CRT TV's, not by a long shot. In the early 2000's I would buy, sell and ship them, no problem. There were plenty of others who did this as well.

Watched George since he started and all the others through the years since they all jumped on the flipping and reselling. I tend to watch someone for a bit and then swap over to someone els, i'm on Jon Luk at the moment and just finnished Brum reseller haha It"s like collecting flippers. Good vid m8 enjoyed your chit chat with George. On your Wii comment ... I can't find wii products anywhere, went to a bootie today and there was not one single wii game there. They are now the most expensive games on ebay. Even shuffleware is selling for extreme prices from europe and US the party games or football fifa yea its cheap but its the same on other platforms, try finding Sayuki 400 + haha

Not keen on George unfortunately, he does think he's the top dog of resellers. He was actually late to the game. There's plenty of youtube resellers that have been around for many years and doing boots sale video's, Nic Hills for one.
That’s okay 😊. In my opinion George is one of the most humble down to earth guys out there.

Not really. Why put all that effort into running 3, 4, 5 different platforms when you can concentrate on 1?
If the other platforms were creating the sales to warrant it then fine, but they don't and never will. eBay will always be the king and should therefor have the most attention.
I think the opposite. It restricts your time and resource. I’m yet to meet a 7-figure reseller that sells on X, Y & Z platform. All the very successful people I know are skilled in one.
Great conversation with George but dude, you wouldn't think you resell at all. Tried to sound like an expert but came across as absolutely clueless, way off the mark on interviewing, no rhythm, and guess work. Such a shame
