  • Today on Lex’s world in what I’ll Dub CO2 102, we’ll compare and contrast two different types of permanent CO2 garden systems - compressed tank Vs. hanging burners and we’ll talk about costs and sizing these systems as well as a bit of air temperature troubleshooting.

    Im about to set up a room but its my first time and Ive got some questions. What do you think about running a 2 burner unit for a 11x9x9 sized room. It will be a sealed room with a mini split ac. Im in south florida so it does get hot here. Do you think its better to go with a tank setup or the co2 burner? My house has a 1500 gallon propane tank that runs the dryer, pool/spa heater, generator, and gas stove so I was thinking that I'd tap into that system since the generator is right outside and propane lines could be ran inside my room. Im also gonna be using half led and half hid lighting 2 1000 w and 2 equivalent leds that I haven't chosen yet. How long does a co2 burner need to run for each day ? I would prefer to do a no sealed room with exhaust and intake fans with carbon filters but I am not sure my homes ac (which is a 5 ton cooling 2,800 sq feet) would be able to handle the extra load by all the heat coming in. So I'm assuming the room needs its own ac and co2 source.

    Easy peasy CO2, what I do is I have a 20 quart cooler filled pariodically with dry ice. Leave the drain open to emit the CO2 as the dry ice evaporates. If you live in the city dry ice is readily availible and not too expensive. Usually any grocery wholesaler has it.

    • @samsonscannabis8331
      @samsonscannabis8331 Před 4 lety

      I don't think it sucked at all. What sucks is people who are most likely just too lazy to do their own research criticizing others who do. Probably didn't put a cost estimate because you can literally just call your local welding shop or Praxair in about 3 minutes you'll have an answer. But hey let's criticize people online because they didn't give you exactly what you were looking for instead of finding for it yourself.
