"Puttin' On the Ritz" is a popular ballad written by Irving Berlin in May 1927 and legend has it that this was the first song in film to be sung by an interracial ensemble! The title derives from the slang expression "to put on the Ritz", meaning to dress very fashionably...so we tried our best and filming at @BelmontVilla just put the cherry on the top!

We are a vintage jazz band influenced by the chic and sophisticated era of the jazz age and beyond. Our repertoire is rooted in the sound of gypsy jazz, with swing tunes from Django Reinhardt, as well as traditional gypsy swing tunes, charlestons, French chansons, bal musette and classic jazz standards from the Great American Songbook.
