- laten was the first dino I played in the night stalker update. I struggled with the marks, but, got help from the global chat. later on we met a gamingbeaver. but, his knowledge of the rules made me doubt that he was the real one. thegamingbeaver I know, never read the rules of private servers XD
we played on Islander's server which I can recommend so far. you can find his server in the community servers and check out the rules on Islander's discord.

Mate, that was the REAL beaver. I have double proof ;)
Firstly, he has this special role Islander gave him in the first PoT video he made while playing on his server. Secondly, I used GB's refer-a-friend code when I bought the game (I got it out of his video-description, so the link itself was for sure from the real beav) and can therefore see his alderon-ID, and its the same as the beaver you played with. And, he actually cares a little more about rules now!
I'm sure Laten can be deadly, but for now I havent tried it! I'm still planning to do so tho!
jeez mate. you guys drive me crazy. I was sure he was a fake beaver. but, some told me already about the session he had with Islander and that he seems to know rules meanwhile. now you and your ID story. omg, did I really meet the one and only and didn't even notice it?
anyway, yeah, laten is kind of fun, but also boring. you have one bite only and a tiny sprint boost. that's all. the other abilities are passive. most laten players lag around like crazy. so, to face 5-6 of them is probably the most annoying fight you can get into. but, that's just my first impression. we have to see. it is at least worth a try

I don't think it was the real gamingbeaver. srsly, since when can beaver explain rules? that doesn't fit to the vids I saw of him and I saw every of his the isle videos. I even discovered the isle 'cause of his vids and I loved his passion from start on. honestly, I would be embarressed if it was the real one and I missed the chance to talk properly to him

The feature of the need to claim quests is good...
Now you can save up quests for whenever you die, questing while being an adult has a purpose now other than collecting for Marks..
It's a pretty useful feature
honestly, I didn't thik about that. but, yeah, makes kind of sense then. even if it doesn't makes sense to me. as long as the quests are as boring as they are by now, I don't do them anyway. therefore I would have preferred better quests. but, if people are happy with it, then it's a good thing of course

Hey Mombie, in the latest video Beaver posted it was him playing Laten, you should take a look at his video and see if you can find yourself also it seems he had his girlfriend there as you can see their name as well. I think it very well could've been him. Anyway, great vid as always too btw!

XD I've just got into PoT these past few months and have been enjoying so far but yes i also hate the quest grind and found the update made it hurt even worse, but I have sorta fallen in love with the roster too. haha Well I hope the growing keeps going well and looking forward to more of your awesome videos!

It's the real beaver, and here is why:
1: he has a custom color you can only receive by providing the alderon ID to the server owner.
2: he still doesn't know the rules xD You have 20 seconds to join your party in an engagement. 60 seconds (recently increased to 90) is the general combat timer in which you need to attempt to land a hit to keep combat going.
well, it was a private server. BUT, you second point is the most convincing so far. the fact he know rules was the most suspicious of all. but, if he don't know the excatly, then it sounds very much like THE gamingbeaver XD oh dear, did I really meet the one and only and didn't notice? :/

Havent test this out yeah, but if you hoard quests and dont collect them, you can collect them whenever, even after you die.
Don't actually know if thats true but it would actually be kinda nice, cause you can immediately get a growth boost after dying and losing progress.
They probably should still have an option to turn auto-collect back on in the settings just for conviency.
thx ♥ yeah, somebody said this beneath my last PoT video, too. this actually makes sense. at least kind of. personally tho, I wouldn't need that feature. but, I don't like the grow system in general, so, maybe that's why XD

That could have been the real Gaming Beaver because he posted a video that says “1 day ago” and it says “Night Stalkers” on it. So that could have been him but usually the gaming doesn’t really know rules.
I still don't think it was the real one. like you said, the rule knowledge doesn't fit at all. I already watched his video. he was at crater and they were fighting allos, too. but, I wasn't in his video and let's be real. many people play at crater and play laten at the moment. so, I think it was a fake beaver XD
True he doesn’t usually know the rules very well, but I just watched his video and he had the exact same name as the one you met “GamingBeaver”. I don’t think you can have identical names. Maybe I am not being realistic though lol

I know each of his isle videos tho and I don't know. like you said, he was way too serious about getting to the crater, hunt and explaining rules. doesn't fit somehow :/ I didn't know about his wife playing with him tho.

Btw, I wish they would make dinos more unique, like I think its strange that spino can break bone, also, I would love if the made underwater feel real, like the isle and beasts of bermuda, plus I tried out flying, in my opinion it needs to be better, and also, I would love if they would make a run animation for every dino because what really bothers me is that it's just a sped up troting animation which is just lazy, though, I love the maps and I think they have nailed that part, but I wish they'd do all that stuff which makes me just like the isle a bit more, though their is SO much room for Improvement in that game.
yeah, the game has so much potential, but, it doesn't feel like the devs are gamers at all. sadly :(
I don't think the running animations are just sped up trot animations, and with some dinos it would make sense anyways, such as for spino. The older creature models are due to be updated in the future anyways, so about half the roster will get new models and animations. Also spino could never break bones, it has a normal bite, a charged bite that does high damage, and a claw attack that does bleed. Then of course it has a tail attack to get people off it's butt and or just for combat in general. Plus if it was realistic spino probably wouldn't even be fun because it gets wrecked by any carnivore it's size.

Play in officials and you'll see when and when not to use your quest to grow it helps you because you can be killed during growing and all that will be wasted for nothing
I don't know. to safe my quests, 'cause if I die, then I can use them. that's lame to me. specially on the official servers. the penalty for dying there is very low anyway. this feature wasn't necessary in my opinion.
@@da.mombie I personally play solo and since work only gives me a few hrs maybe it's better for me but someone that has more time maybe they see this as a waste of time compared to me takes me like 4 days to grow any dino compared to another that grows their dinos in 2 days or 1
But I get your point I prefer passive growth over saving quest but saving quest helps me more I enjoy it because am a solo player fighting groups

It is the proper actual beaver, he's just......... not that great with all the rules so I am a little surprised he knew that one lol.
srsly, I was like, no, that isn't beaver. I ain't that lucky to meet him. then I saw the content creator beside his name in the group and was like, jeez, it may be the real beaver. then he explained the rules and I was like, nope, fake, 100% fake ^^

I think so, too. to be honest, I didn't watch him much recently, just 'cause I lack of time. but, I watched every of his the isle vids. many even twice. and this beaver was never interested in reading rules. so, he telling me excatly how the rules are, was very sus XD
@@da.mombie f you watch his latest path of titans vids he played as laten plus when he first started playing path of titans again a couple of months ago he actually met islander in game and learned the rules with him XD I'll have to see his later video first to really confirm though
