I'm Dutch so I'll help you guys with translating:
The tips I have for DJ's is using Acapellas, it's good if you search it up at home. Acapellas are only the voice-part of a track, without music in the background. For example, I have acapellas from Lil Jon who's screaming ''put your fucking hands up'' and then I'm able to mix with these two decks and with the third one you can just mess a little bit with the voice. Those are simple tools to hype the crowd a little.
DJ'ing is in the first place really different than producing. If I'm producing I'm making my own music and as a DJ I'm just playing music. So, the tracks are already done and the only thing you have to do as a DJ is mixing them together and entertaining the people. So uhhh, many people don't know that. They are thinking like 'his song Animals is nice so he's a good DJ', but maybe I'm a really bad DJ and a good producer!
Technically the only tip I have is just: practice really much, spend many time mixing. From every booking you'll learn more and you'll learn handling different crowds. If you've practiced enough, you can build a party from every show!
Something very important is, if you make a mistake during mixing, just pretend like it's part of your mix. The crowd doesn't know what's in your head and you've only made the mistake if you admit your mistake. Imagine, the music stops. Just grab your mic and pretend it's part of the show. If you're just standing like you're bored, the crowd will do that too. Something you want as a DJ, is that the crowd is partying and going wild. If you want to achieve that, you'll have to jump and show the crowd you're having fun too!

im dutch so here is the english translation for the main part:

When im a DJ on a event i play music. The tracks are already made. All I have to do is mix them up together.
You have to make a lot of hours and gain experience to get better.

Hes probably using Pioneer CDJ-2000-NXS with the Pioneer DJM-900NXS Mixer but it cost like 3000$. If your starting out id get something cheaper to begin with.

Sounded a lot like German, but I don't know either language. How similar are the two? German was my first language, but I stopped speaking it once I went to school
German and Dutch are very similar, when you know a german word, you mostly know the Dutch word too. But the grammer is very different, in Germany you have Cases; dative, nominative, genitive, accusativ. In dutch you don't have these. Most of the time the sentence structure is the same. (German)=Ich fühle mich nicht wohl. (Dutch)=Ik voel me niet lekker. 'Ik voel me niet lekker.' means= 'I don't feel well.' Most people think that Dutch is German because they look like each other.
