LET'S GOO! My Vulp just got here from Nabalis as this was posted. My first upgrade after the squiddy:) It only took 8 days from China to the heart of the midwest. Really impressive actually, thought I'd be waiting at least 2 more weeks.
One weird thing is I got a scam text right after it was delivered saying "your package address is incorrect. Returned to warehouse. Please change address" with a link to an obvious USPS phishing website. May be completely unrelated but the timing was just odd
That’s nice to hear, man. The Vulp was my first Bali and the surprise In quality was one of the main reasons I got so hooked on flipping in the first place. It was just really easy to pick it up and fidget a bit while focusing on other stuff.

I just found on Reddit that vulps take kraken parts like the blade and everything you could put a live kraken blade on vulp handles and or put the vulp blade on kraken handles also the bushings washers and hardware from krakens fit too
Was wanting this too. In the site they seem to be trying to put up the blades themselves both black and silver up. They say sold out and there are no reviews but hopefully you can buy them sometime soon

Just got the vulp in. Extremely new to flipping, but kinda needed something to do out at the climbing crag while the homies are working on their projects, and to pop brews with when we're done with the session.

I have a feeling that Amazon is trying to part with balisongs. I recently bought the Marcolo Comet G10 and a day after I bought it they removed it entirely off of the website. Still got it though which is nice

I bought one on amazon a couple days ago (italy). Pretty amazing quality. I honestly love it, very solid, good sound, no tap out of the box. This thing really kills the competition for a beginner knife, wouldn't be surprised if certain companies doesn't like it. Avaibility is key, personally i do not like waiting months for mainstream products just to end up not being able to get one after 10s of release 😂

So I ordered it off of Nabalis April 22 and it has been sitting at a warehouse in Jamaica New York since April 24. USPS is shipping it as far as I know it still come from China as well.

Does the vulp use a practice blade or real blade? (I’m trying to find a good practice balisong to begin practicing)
It is a fake one 😁 (real ones are illegal in most places and do be warned when flipping this thing it will hurt maybe a tad if you flip on the “blade side” but it is a good minor correction.

Marcolo is just a front for "Armed Shark" the clone company, you can tell by looking closely at their designs which are often just redesigned clones, and you'll notice the photos on Amazon match the style of photos Armed Shark uses on clone sites.
@@WillHirschFlips What about the Comet/Comet G10? I'm still fairly new to flipping keep in mind, but I haven't found anything that looks like it that would suggest its a clone or redesign. I just ordered a G10 model, cause I don't have Nautilus money lol, and I love it. But if there is something better that's similiar to it, I'm all ears.

I think it could be either squid industries or squid industries fan boys.
for starters, squid got a lot of trainers onto their amazon store conveniently around the time the vulp was taken down. the vulp is squid's biggest budget range competitor as it's half the price of the mako (squids closest priced metal bali) and more durable than the squiddy (squids cheapest bali). if people aren't buying the squiddy, their not breaking the squiddy and if their not breaking the squiddy their not upgrading to the mako or re-buying the squiddy. not to mention how fast nabalis can output the vulp it ends up being more available than the mako, thus more people buy it over waiting for the mako making it extremely difficult to compete with. so why compete with it at all when you could get rid of the competition instead?
Next, Squid fan boys or as I'm going to refer to them as, squimps.
these are the type of people that circle jerk themselves in the balisong flipping discord server and hate anything that isn't made in the USA. as a result, they see the vulp and how good it is and take it as a threat and try to keep squid industries as relevant as possible. They started by spreading slander about the vulp saying things like "the QC is horrible even after the V2" and "it's made in sweat shops" to anyone considering the vulp as a first bali purchase. blatantly lying wasn't enough so they went a step further and got it taken down from amazon, taking away one of the vulps main draws toward new flippers. Squimps are one of the leading reasons I hate this "community" and the main source of toxicity from it as well.
This isn't something people in the balisong community wants to be true, so no one talks about it or even considers it a possibility. Unfortunately for everyone, these are very real possibilities that need to be taken into account as this shit is seen everywhere. from tech to videogames to music, balisongs are not exempt from this behavior.
