Very good tutorial, I just learned this song from kasey playing it solo while she was in lockdown, which may differ from her studio or live playing. The differences I noticed, is in the beginning intro she plays the A/Asus, em, g & D9 add11 both times instead of alternating with C. And the bridge she plays C to Em, not just the C. Also I notice she adds her finger on the low E string , when playing the C chord throughout , creating a fuller sound. no biggie, the differences are very subtle & not very noticable though. You sing it well, sucks being a guy singing this Haha...I play it 1/2 down & falsetto on the chorus, sounds 'ok' I guess.😊

Wonderfully played and sang. I learned playing the song with Marty Schwartz and the only difference is removing the index finger on the C chord which also sounds amazing.

If you pick the E and pull off halfway through your strumming of the C major chord it sounds super cool. Like if instead of the last d-u strum you do E pull of to D if that makes any sense.

I suggest a tutorial for beginners named: "A little music theory that will let you into the music world", bc almost everyone (or at least most of my friends) wants to know some theory sooner or later 😊 (it helps with figuring out names for chords, making chord progressions and taking your chord progression on the next level 😉)

The strumming pattern is proving to be difficult for me. I have no experience at all and it’s taking me long to get the rhythm for that going, even though it looks so easy. 😫
Try starting out with just single down strums and working your way up. :)

Guitar Goddess Thanks! I have a Guild that was my grandfathers and I like the strings that are on it from when my dad got them changed out but I have to find other ones that are good because of course my dad won’t know which one they are. I think they will be great on my guitar. 😊

Hello, I had guitar lessons in late '98 and early '99, I gave up because I was having some trouble with School, in 2007 I had a co-worker who also gave guitar lessons but for some odd reason he stopped. In 2010 I was unemployed and my Epiphone SG Junior was getting dust even inside the gig bag and I really need money so I sold it (I know, terrible decision), I have been dreaming about guitars lately and I was thinking buying another guitar, problem is: I barely know how to play and I don't have anyone to teach me, I don't want to buy a guitar/bass and then never touch it, if I buy a new PC Gaming I have to pay a lot more, I don't know what to do. :/
