The Delhi Commission for Women has issued a notice to city police in connection with a viral video which is being widely circulated on social media wherein the man can be seen indulging in an “obscene act” while sitting in the Delhi Metro.

I am college professor and i am proud to see my state (Mizoram) being featured in mainstream news media, and big youtube channels. For those curious, Mizos are considered 'happiest' because of our close-knit society. Even the most hardcore drug addict criminal is taken care of (rehab centres) by the public. Students from broken families are treated like family by teachers and classmates. Suicide rate is also among the lowest in India (per capita). In Mizoram, if life is giving you lemons, the community makes sure you get at least some lemonade. Its also a matter of pride that we usually make it to the news for good reasons _(despite issuese like increase in numbers of broken families, rising unemployment, rising pollution, rising corruption, state govt. not being able to pay salaries etc. ). Jai Hind.

My college is in Mizoram and the people here are adorable. The way they welcome people and their helpful nature is really appreciable. They know to protect their culture without being racist.
The only time they get irritated is if you take 5 minutes extra in the shop after 5pm. As here everything gets closed by 5pm. I feel this work life balance is one of the reasons behind their happiness.
and I am really happy you talked about Mizoram, I hope people will get to know more about North Eastern states and their culture as I am tired of listening to people getting confused where my college is with all the other states and cities of North East India (if you have watched Bheriya, you would know, there was a scene like that and I can relate to that more than anything).

We changed the way national highway lengths were measured after 2014. Earlier, it was in absolute KM's and now all lanes are counted. For eg, a 4 lane highway which is 1Km long would have been reported as 1Km in govt. data prior to 2014. This calculation is now 1*4 = 4Km (because its 4 lanes) in the data. So its not right to say that we've constructed more highways since 2014, rather we've just changed the way we measure them now. MASTERSTROKE!!!

We would LOVE a video on the NAXAL MOVEMENT and its modern day remnant. The history of naxals and the states affected… most importantly CHHATTISGARH and how they have a significant obstruction to industrial development in naxal affected states.
As a doctor I work in a rural PHC of a naxal affected area in Bastar. As far as I have seen there are a lot of misconceptions about how naxals work and people should know the naxal movement is nowhere now as compared to about 20-30 or even 50yrs ago

Oversight committee headed by MARY KOM was set up to investigate their claims but they found nothing against Brij Bhushan. Despite the fact that Babita Phogat was also part of that committee. The claims were made by the protesting wrestlers that Vinesh was harassed by Brij Bhushan in Turkey in 2015, when committee found that there was no competition in Turkey in 2015, Vinesh changed her statement and said it was actually 2016 in Mongolia.
The real reason is the rules created by brij bhushan where olympic medalist still has to go for trial for other international competitions where as the protesting wrestlers don't want to play nationals and the trials , want direct ticket to olympics just because they won last time.
Just think, why are they demanding disbandment of WFI?

Phogat family was inviting braj bhusan in their marriage functions till dec 2022. As soon as the rule was made to compulsory participate in national level tournaments in order to qualify for international tournaments these athletes came out with these allegations.
If f you will see only few wrestlers from same state and same community have the problem because they want there monopoly in the game.
WFI president election was fought by hooda son of EX CM of Haryana who belongs to same community but lost it.
These facts must be known to everyone who is unbiased and wants a swift solution on this problem.
Earlier they wanted FIR and resignation but now there demand is to arrest him. So without enquiry just by blocking roads using public sympathy and support you want him to get arrested.
