I remember watching this (the original ITS episode) and thinking how bizarre it was. It was definitely scripted, at least to some degree. Always remember that most of what you are seeing (if not all) is what the company wants you to see. JK and Taehyung have never acted like they were distant or uncomfortable around each other.

Even the months before that ITS episode, we had the Grammys where everyone, even people who did not know BTS thought they were a couple, their appearance on James Corden Show, Black Swan Bangtan bomb and even more…they were clingy throughout those periods so when I saw this “date scene”, I knew right away that it was a lie. People just keep using this fake talk to keep saying they’re uncomfortable with each other.

I'm new to all things BTS and I noticed there was more between these two than the rest of the members. Well before I heard of shipping or Taekook I could tell. Maybe because I'm older and was in the industry, I can definitely see they are not just FS. In fact it's just the opposite because staff is always trying to separate them. Blessings sent to them for their continued strength and love 🙏💚🐯🐰💜🙏
We always knew it was set up by staff because we know better. They have always been close and real af. We can only make assumptions on what went down, BUT I’d bet my next paycheck that Tae, being that beautiful, bold, and rebellious soul that he is, probably had some words with staff about the filming and allowing them freedom to interact. The compromise was that they had to do the “date night” in exchange for freedom. That’s just my guess. Either way, the love they share is always present and keeping us from seeing their true interactions doesn’t mean they aren’t close. It just means the cameraman is controlling our perception of their relationship….like always. We don’t need them to allow us to see it, we always feel it. Taekook Forever 💜

N soop , Actually that was the time Tae went to depression and all and Before coming to Soop, Tae wrote "Blue & Grey" and he said n several interviews that he was suffered from depression that time... Every members wrote comforting quotes for Tae like we are always there for u n Festa 2020..Jk said some side of Tae became awkward, like before it was easy to talk, we literally knw if we go through depression -we literally can't talk to anyone or explain it to some one.....Jk asked Tae "what's n ur mind these days??" (Awkard and distant wd each other- words are from Bighit explanation not they said)..N award function Jk itself cleared that like "He didn't say they are not close ,he meant only Tae became more reliable and added they are still close"..

I remember watching this as a baby army last year and damn...I was sooo confused as to why such a personal conversation needed to be on screen...there are so many conversations that the boys have had with each other and never told us what it was about, especially the reason why they almost disbanded..like they always refer to that conversation and to how they cried but there's zero footage of it, because to be honest it is not our business..so that begs the question, why did bighit feel that we needed to be apart of such a personal conversation??? It doesn't make sense to me..the whole thing was just sus, coz leading up to the conversation they did everything but be distant 😭😭 I do believe that there was some truth to the words they said to each other but its still sus how such a personal conversation was filmed from all angles with like 4-5 staff members behind the camera.

I personally think this might have been a “re-creation” of a conversation that they really had in the past. This version would cut out the super emotional or hard parts maybe so army wouldn’t worry or something. It would seem that what happened was true but I don’t believe that this was the first time they tried to talk about it. I don’t think they would start filming something like this without working out their issues first.

It was random and completely personal. Why would you have that conversation on a reality TV show? I'd even take texting the problem out over that kind of scenario. They are more passionate than that and there would be harsher words or even yelling taking place. It’s too chill for that conversation. Therefore, or are they close or not? Because both. things cannot be. When did Jungkook lie? Because it is clear that either he lied then or in ITS. And the evidence indicates that he lied on ITS. It's sad, but yeah Jungkook played Bh's Game, I just hope it was to get something good for the two of them.
Thing is, JK never said that they “became distant.” Those words were in brackets, meaning it came from the editors and not spoken by JK. What he said was, as their schedules got busier, “There was a side of things that became awkward with Taehyung.” I thought those words were carefully chosen to be vague enough to fit the narrative of “they became distant” while carrying a ring of truth.
“As our schedules got busier” could also mean “as our popularity/fame grew.” “There was a side of things that became awkward with Taehyung” could mean many things. For example, I imagine that being more closely monitored by staff could certainly make things “awkward.” So I think JK worded it that way so the “distant” narrative could be supported without having to lie.

Here’s the thing, you could see how close they are in all the episodes leading up to the tent date. Let’s be real, you just don’t have a “heart to heart” and then go sleep in the same bed. It’s their habit to do that and it’s been going on for years. I don’t think Jungkook lied when he said they started growing distant when they starting doing their own thing. Remember back when V was filming Hwarang Jungkook was feeling sad that he spent so much time with actor friends. I believe that’s what he was referring to. When I saw the ad for The Soop on Weverse, I told my dear self, don't bother watching it because chances are that, what happened in the BTS in the Soop is going to be shown. However, what I hadn't anticipated was it was going to be exactly the same in some scenes(and I am glad I wasn't disappointed and so happy that I didn't watch it). What you said at 8.25 is something that needs to be addressed by all Fans regardless of whether one is a TaeKooker or not but as ARMY. V said that JK and I have never had big arguments.... *yet nearly every time even without watching edited clips it is TAEKOOK who are portrayed as the ones who look like they don't get on well* I have heard all these excuses where people say, the others are doing things to cover up for TaeKook. Let's be very clear, for each ship in BTS, there is no one covering for the other (VMin are the same age, Jikook and TaeKook same age difference, NamJin 2 years difference, Taegi & Yoonmin 3 years diff, Sope 1 years difference etc, none of them cover for each other - who can cover for who when in the actual sense they are within the same age range - who of them is 10 that they might not understand the implications of dating within a group or even outside the group yet they were in training for at least 6 months and still reminded each day about it) During that training it is not just about singing, dancing it also includes what you can and cannot do. They are all old enough to know what they are doing. If we also look deeper we can see within the group how their off the screen interactions are likely to be. Eg who visits the others' homes often, who decides to stay at home, who rushes to leave work as soon as it is finished, etc. Because on camera, anything is supposed to work as you are told. RANT OVER
PS. I still applaud the TaeKook CZcamsrs who have soldiered each day to remind people that regardless of what is shown, TaeKook have the strongest bond. Thank you very much. i remember watching a compilation of 2021 moments and most of them were after the in the soop show. I was so confused because i never saw them act awkward. In the show they said it like we were following a whole different group. They seemed pretty close in the show until one point which threw me off like crazy.

It's clearly scripted and they were told to talk to each other, however I believe when they talk about the distant it's the emotional distant, which is not the same as physical distant. It's true that Taekook don't really talk about their emotion much (like vmin) and their "partner in crime" relationship is not the same as it used to. Still beautiful bond I really love them both.

I am so conflicted with HYBE/Bighit’s intervention of separation, editing and censuring Taekook. On the one hand it gives support to the fact that they are a real couple and the company is “protecting” them from bad media. But on the other i feel it is the interfering with the marketability of Taekook. Shipping as you wise army knows is an industry marketing tool. They created fanservice in order to lure in fans that would fall in love with the idols. The fact that the company promotes (allows) fanservice (shipping) of ANY subunit except for Taekook is a disservice to the fans (TaeKookers). Jikook is promoted. I also watched this and it was also confusing for me in the beginning. However, as I get to watch more of this part in other posted videos. I realized that JK was actually very uncomfortable not because Tae is too close and that he doesn’t want to drop the honorifics. But actually, he is NOT really happy when Tae is far apart from him. They always both want to be together. You can always see that happiness when they are teamed up and how JK often finds ways to be near Tae whenever they are separated.
