Ci Ci was actually very pregnant when this video was being recorded so props to her. I think not sure but they might have changed something choreo to work around that.

You should check out Victoria Monet " On my Momma" she pays tribute to Ciara and early 2000's hip hop. She's also an amazing dancer.

The reason the comments have been made about Chris is because if things he's done and said in regards to black women. More specifically black women who don't pass the paper bag test. People who don't know would think that it was because people were "hating" on Chris but in reality it's because of his own words and things he actually did, it wasn't a rumor about his colorism, it's facts and he's not the only one. Black women (who are the biggest consumers of these guys) are the ones who get them started off the ground and support them only to have them once they get "white acceptance" for them to turn around and bash the women who held them down before anyone even knew they sang or did anything else. This is a huge issue within the African American/black American community.
I don't know if you know it but at one of the highest peaks of this issue, a black dude was k*lled by his white gf and his family cried out to the black community (and in the US when they call upon the black community they're calling upon black women because historically we tend to do the heavy lifting to get things done) for help to get him justice because the police were allowing her to get away with it and black American women collectively said "we'll pass" literally because he had for years been degrading and trashing black women all over social media once he got with this white girl who actually did porn on only fans and even though his mother and sister who supported his lifestyle are very dark skinned. Our history is far more complex than most and always under attack to be erased which is why were so protective of our "ish", it's not just events it's way deeper and contextual which is why other people (and some none astute black Americans) don't understand when things like the Chris comment are made. It's obvious when people don't know black American history because our issues have historical context and if you don't know that history like most people who don't know black American history statements and backlashes like Chris received would seem like "haters", but it's not. It comes from a place of hurt because we love so hard and deep that when you say and do the things Chris (and others like him) has done and said it's like a dagger in the heart. So as a result, black American women are deciding to bow out of the fight for those who wouldn't fight for them.
