I'm glad he stopped as soon as he realized that it was a subject Peter didn't want to talk about - shifted gears - complimented his music and how he is slammed by the haters, but his music is played as the first song at weddings... true true. This actually turned into a good conversation. Not the same old 'why take drugs' 'tell us about Kate Moss' blaa blaa - the things that throw Peters guard up and basically end an interview.
its interesting hearing him talk about wolfman like that. Saying he is angry with him because he is piping and sad, and cant see his friend rot away like that... thats exactly what carl must have felt like when he hit the brown. im so happy hes sorting it out. now we just need that all important libertines tour and the world will be a better place once again.
i think its stupid to not acknowledge that peter at first loved the drug image. ive seen early interviews of him and he really embraced it. but its even more stupid to take that and think that after some time the disease of addiction did not really got him, captured him, and fucked him up. as an addict i will tell you something: you will never know what addiction feels like until you are addicted! and you can see that in peter...he knows and everyone else nows that hes lost in addiction and i do take that seriously from him, as an artist and as a person. just get the message kids...dont even test if you have an addictive personality or not..because if you do..its too late once youve figured it out

over the years its a fact that all the best rock artists/bands were drug users infact pretty much anyone who is famous has probly dabbled in drugs, so think about it before you slag of one person and not the others the media made pete out to be a real bad junkie when all he was doing is enjoing the high life, (pun intended) and its just kind of stuck to him like a nickname now. peter is a clever man, he played the game well. he knew it would make him the talk of the town so he played along
