Hey guys the WINGDK folder where i pasted the engine.ini for a second time is related to game pass version if your modding that, not the steam version I was focused on here. Small goof not supposed to he in the video but the guide is solid. Its been a crazy few days working with this mod set and video. When all else fails refer to the readme files lol.
Does this mod handle game updates well?
As in, does the game suddenly crash with updates or something?

On your steam deck what settings do you have on? I’m referring to the scaling mode and scaling factor
For the gamepass version, how do you had the -dx12 flag?
Does this mod kinda like dim the brightness of the game for anyone else, also it made some of the whites a bluish hue. So far it's running great since the mod just having some texture load issues which might be just the game itself not sure yet.
Are the steps different if I have the game downloaded to an SD card?

I'm on gamepass buy can't get this working on my rog ally. Is there another video for that install? I've got the dx12 switch working. I can see it confirmed in my temp readout.

@GameTechPlanet the devs of the mod recommends we turn off fsr2 during boss battles. is this as simple as disabling dlss in the video settings?

After doing everything step by step the game doesn't boot anymore...
EDIT: Just restarted the Steam Deck and it worked!
EDIT 2: I've never had any problems with my save file before, but immediately after installing this mod I lost around 5h of gameplay.
EDIT 3: After manually recovering the backup save files, I managed to get the game back to the old general state, BUT looks like some things were not backed up in those files. So now I have LOTS of Tech stuff locked, but no more tech points to unlock them. What a mess!
Tried this recently, now Palworld does not launch into the game at all. It will load into the main menu and I have the updated graphics settings but once I try to load into the game it crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game twice with no luck. Any advice?
Does this stay if the game updates? Or will we have to redo after every update?

my wife is trying to join me after this mod i put on my steam deck but she’s on pc and it won’t let her join me anymore is there a reason, the fps is better and b4 my game used to crash i haven’t fully tested it but its not letting her join me
I went from 24-35 fps
To 87-90 fps. WITH HIGHER GRAPHICS SETTINGS very low --> to just low now
i locked it to 60 and it sits perfectly there with only minor dips into 50s occasionally

Is it OK to install SDEssentials - Stable & FSR2 or XeSS Upscaling both together??? (2 files(FSR2XeSS_P.pak & SDEssentials_P.pak) in ~mods folder.
you plan do a guide for xbox gamepass pc version?
Potentially if / when the dev adds dlss to the gamepass version. Its missing features to make fsr2 mod work. U can do the simple stable mod parts easily but not worth it to me. Xbox version needs work

Fortunately for me i have three decks to try. All worked. The first time tho i did have black screen. I hadn’t properly added the regedit. Other than thst its been good. Double triple check everything
In my case with 6700 XT it made my fps worse, broke game textures, and eventually broke the game itself.
