The thing about Koreans being super touchy.. it really depends on the friend group. I lived in another country and came to Korea for University, and then I saw guys flirting with each other, massaging each other, hugging each other and at first I was kind of surprised, but I later realized that it was kind of a joke? I don't know how to describe it, but it seems to be their way of joking around, cuz all of them ended up getting girlfriends, and after coming back from their military, they jokingly threw up seeing each other saying that they had enough of looking at guys.
But then there are those super serious guys who literally slap people away if they get too close to each other or clearly show that they don't like it, so I guess it's just their personality?
Oh and also, idols tend to exaggerate it a little more because a lot of the companies know that some fans like to ship them, and it's their way of marketing.

JHope is really adorable and the makne line members are very close to JHope since way back debut era. They really wish and crave for JHope's affection and compliment. V expressed that in Festa 2020, JK in Let's BTS and Jimin when they moved to the Hannam dorm... If you notice, the Bangtan Bomb videos are mostly with JHope, V, JK and Jimin.... Ahhh so love them

RM himself in a vlog, discussing the making of MOTS: 7 praised & acknowledged how it was Jimin that loved the song Zero O'Clock so much, and encouraged RM to continue & complete it! They do also have the ability to joke & make fun of each other, because they know each other so well!!
Joon and min's conversation gives me life.. remember that potato peeling episode from bon voyage season 4 where joon went to jimin to have a deep talk.. they have such a beautiful friendship.. it's so obvious why the members can open up to jimin.. that man listens so well without interupting and is so sincere when he does it you want to pour your entire heart to him😭

btw I also had this mindset about shipping real people and I still think that there is a lot of people who go overboard with it but there’s actually no inherent issue with shipping (even if it is romantically) as long as you’re being respectful and know your boundaries (knowing what is fiction and what is reality, respecting their privacy and not trying to out anyone etc).

Yes, there were some parts where they went a little overboard BUT we all know that this is not meant to be taken seriously.
All the guys are very good friends with each other, they are brothers so its understandable that they would be touching, holding, and be all up on each other because they showing how they love each other as brothers and also because they just want to be silly.😋

When Koreans are close, they touch men or women without hesitation, but they are not the same-sex thing foreigners think. When you come to Korea, women sometimes cross their arms, so don't misunderstand that it's a cultural difference. Sometimes it is not good to edit dubbing or scenes and show them. Tapping each other's heads or hips is encouraging or joking. I don't know how to do it in other countries, but in Korea, if your child or brother is cute or good at something, they often hug each other, patting each other and love each other. It is only possible in very close proximity.
