Happy early birthday!! LMAO, I turned 60 on Aug 16 and I still feel anywhere from 12-21 depending...Don't let it phase you....cherish and relish every single one cus there are many who will not make it as far...I've outlived my dad by 12 years now...he died at 48...and every decade up you will feel more yourself and more free....it's true! :) Rock on!!
Oh my gosh that is so funny to hear because I always wondered when I would finally feel my age! 😂 like how old before I feel my age lmao. I just still feel young, so funny you do too!! Life truly flies by… when you’re younger you feel like you have forever but the older you get the faster time flies

I’ve got a couple other videos unboxing my custom VDS’s and explaining more but I narrow the planners by -8mm per side and remove the pen loop! It’s the perfect fit for me!!

What do you do when you have to refill your ring planners? Do you keep the older pages? How do you store the old pages?
Hi! That depends on the insert for me. I tend to trash ones like my order trackers, list inserts, etc. but I’ll keep weeklies and habit trackers. I don’t have a great system but I essentially just keep them in another ring planner that’s not currently in use! They aren’t organized or anything - when the month ends I literally just remove them and throw them in one of my other personal size moterms that’s in a drawer lol. Some people have really extensive archive systems but I do not. To be honest I probably don’t even NEED to keep older pages but sometimes I just can’t bear to trash them yet!

1) do you use the same paper for your inserts AND the dashboards/deco you print? Or do you use a heavier weight for dash?
2) have you ever thought about offering freebie downloads? I would LOVE the planning routine you made on Canva to edit to my routine!
So I actually print my dashboards on photo paper! And my inserts on 32lb or 28lb HP paper, they are all linked in my amazon favorites! And I know a lot of people do freebies, I would totally be open to it I just feel like my designs are nowhere near as cute as other people’s! 😂 that planning routine specifically I actually was inspired for that design from mywrittengallery on IG, the layout and putting the drop stickers on it was all her idea so I probably wouldn’t wanna offer that! But you should definitely check her out and I think she just opened a shop too

I know what you mean about feeling like your designs aren’t as cute as other peoples but I think they are AMAZING! I’ll check out that suggestion.
Do you have any recs for pretty fonts in canva?? I’ve been making some stuff but I’m not sold on any of the fonts I’ve used!
@@DataMama4 yes it’s matte, and you can print on both sides! I’m not sure the weight off the top of my head but it’s listed in my amazon favorites which is linked in the description & also on my IG! It’s heavier than my 32lb paper but not by toooo much. My fav Canva fonts are Abhaya Libre Regular (in capital letters lol), Evolventa or Poppins Light, and Brittany! That’s all with the free version, the paid version has so much better options lol

Which thickness of craft plastic did you use, the .020 or .007?
.007! That’s like regular planner acetate, the 20 is much too thick
Can you link what vellum it is you use please? I can’t tell you how many I have purchased from eBay and Amazon all are either too think or too thin or don’t print well! Any advise would be great 👍! Thanks x
It is linked in my amazon favorites! It’s not super thick, just a medium weight but it compatible with inkjet printers and works great with mine

Just randomly curious with giant heart eyes thinking about how many planners yu must own, wondering how many do yu own after all those years of planning? I’m debating on getting another unnecessary cover purchase >.< lol
So funny enough I actually feel like it’s not that many! I’ve been in this community since 2015 but the covers I own now actually were all bought within the last 2 years lol! Mainly bc I sell things I don’t see myself using anymore… so I’ve sold my old Foxy TN’s, sold my pelle studio ones from deco days, sold all my pocket moterms…. My current cover collection consists of two personal moterms (taupe & white), 5 pocket VDS’s (3 custom, 2 ready to ship), and 2 personal VDS’s (custom)! If you can’t tell I’ve become fully a VDS girl hahaha. Now that’s all my ring planners, I do also have one A6 moterm notebook cover… and a handful of Travelers Company TN’s for my journals! ❤️❤️

Crazy question but how do you print sticky notes?
Not crazy at all, and it’s soooo easy!!! So most people who offer printable sticky notes have a template that’s just blank squares. You print that, stick the sticky notes on, and put it back in your printer then print the design! If you designed your own for example and aren’t using a template, what I do is just print it on regular paper, stick the stick note over top, pop it back in the printer and print again!
