House Heavily Damaged By Fire | Houston

  • 1.26.2021 | 2:26 AM | HOUSTON - A house was heavily damaged by fire Tuesday morning.
    Houston firefighters responded to the 9600 Block of Beckley Street for reports of a house on fire shortly before 2:30 AM.
    Arriving companies located a single family residence with heavy fire showing, and the call was upgraded en route due to the possibility of trapped residents.
    No residents were located, and the cause remains under investigation.

    I guess PPE is optional in Houston when you go defensive at a fire! That stuff would make the skin crawl on any Fire Officer that has any sense...

    Can someone tell me what the long aluminum poles are that are being taken out of the back of the engine by a couple fireman? It's near the end of the video.

      Haven't seen yet but I believe they are what the firemen use to poke holes in roof to release smoke

    The structure was lost before you arrived. Unfortunately, it appears an aerial apparatus was not available to position in the driveway. It may have made extinguishment easier, but I'm sure that option was considered.

    Who is the guy at the eight minute mark fighting fire with no PPE on come on where is the Incident Safety Officer or anyone else telling this guy to stop. Not impressed!
