Must be a sketchy neighborhood with those tall iron fences.
I guess PPE is optional in Houston when you go defensive at a fire! That stuff would make the skin crawl on any Fire Officer that has any sense...
My thoughts exactly.
Very sad. Hope everyone is alright?
Can someone tell me what the long aluminum poles are that are being taken out of the back of the engine by a couple fireman? It's near the end of the video.
Haven't seen yet but I believe they are what the firemen use to poke holes in roof to release smoke
I was wrong. But the fireman after that with wooden one what was meaning
Colapsable ladders, sometimes called attic ladders, or pencil ladders
The structure was lost before you arrived. Unfortunately, it appears an aerial apparatus was not available to position in the driveway. It may have made extinguishment easier, but I'm sure that option was considered.
woah
Keep up the good work Houston fire department!!!! Bring them out alive.
I don't know what house was "heavily damaged". The one in this video is TOTAL DESTROYED!
Who is the guy at the eight minute mark fighting fire with no PPE on come on where is the Incident Safety Officer or anyone else telling this guy to stop. Not impressed!
