What is the point of that flimsy sliding metal part where you adjust the lenght of the belt?
@@silviuflorescu6838 It uses friction to help prevent webbing from slipping through the buckle when webbing is properly routed. In my opinion it's not flimsy.

It depends on which belt you have, some of them have half of the buckle sewn in.
