The levels gameplay comes from the Old Impossible SWI that Vipin and Riot made in 2.0. I DID NOT MAKE THE EXTENSION GAMEPLAY, FOR HISTORICAL PURPOSES SWE WILL NOT BE NERF OR BUFFED IN ANY SUBSTANTIAL WAY!!!
The level currently sits at 411k out of the original 423k objects and there's absolutely no excuse for that, I'm sorry. I will optimize while I verify the level. I wanted to get the full showcase out since I've made people wait so long. There will be further polishing as I optimize the level, i couldn't be bothered to set a bunch of move triggers up and then to replace objects after that. AND There is a custom remix of Sonic Blaster called Eternal Blaster that is being processed on Newgrounds so when I release the level, It'll have that attached to it. Please excuse any visual bugs you see.
I will admit, since my playing skill has declined substantially, this level scares me quite a bit but I will do my best.
For those wondering how hard this is, the general consensus from play-testers is that the level is a few spots above APTeam SWI or a few spots below it.

@@user-No5kwmp540nsn swi is muddy, soulless, and gives off a really corporate vibe in its decoration for the most part. On the other hand, this level has much better contrast, colors, effects, and backgrounds, and its not even close.
SWI has more detailed designs though, but the level of detail looks ugly in some parts (especially the drop).

Jokes aside this is probably the best sonic wave remake. Like, it's really good. But personally I just wish it wasn't Sonic Wave but it's own thing, since the deco is very different from sonic wave infinity dispite sharing the space theme. I'm just saying, I think it would shine brighter if it wasn't Sonic Wave. It kind of makes all the effort go to waste I would have loved to see this as an original NC level.
To be fair though I've taken a closer look at the backstory, and I do understand why this level exists. I'm still not sure about it being Sonic Wave but at the same time I guess it also narratively makes sense.
If this doesn't get Legendary, imma blow up my shit to Robtop.

@YoFridayGamer Will you be fixing some obnoxious gameplay choices from old SWI? I.e the end of the first wave and the weird 0.5x speed ball green orb in the extension? Those are horrible to play in old SWI

This is beyond impressive, the best remake period, if this doesn’t gets rated I’ll be fuming. Here’s my “criticism” as a Sonic Wave connoisseur lmao:
- First cube: perfect
- Ship: perfect
- Ball: my 2nd fav part, the contrast between the cube transition and when you click the pink orb at the start of the ball part that gives you time to see the atmosphere with the “spiky vines” and all, very nice mood.
-First Wave: perfect, the theme and effects works perfectly for the drop, 2nd and 3rd wave style would be weird and underwhelming. You did an amazing job 10/10.
-Second Cube: a bit empty when the gameplay is not centered with the background for example at 1:12 1:13 the background is lower so you can see how empty is the sky.
-Second Wave: my fav part. the same as the first wave, perfect effects perfect theme that compliments perfectly the vibes of the song. Best NC deco I’ve seen
-Third Cube: at first I didn’t like it but it’s growing the more I watch it. 10/10 the only “problem” I have is that either the background is too bright or the black hole too black (duh), the contrast is weird to me somehow.
- Third Wave: perfect execution, it perfectly serves as a conclusion to the level being similar and unique to the rest of the level.
- Extension: 2:14 didn’t fit the vibe with the original song, with the remix it does now, 10/10
-Final cube: perfect
-Balancing and enjoyment:
sadly this doesn’t look balanced nor fun to play. The buffs are ok but imo some important clicks are overbuffed, first wave is harder than the 2nd, 3rd and extension combined.
- 0:40 yellow portal skip i think it’s impossible now
- 0:59 the hardest SW is harder and more annoying 💀
- 1:01 that click looks annoying af holy fuck
- 1:03 the spam part is scary
-Second wave is easier, the nerfs aren’t noticeable and the deco makes it easier which i like cuz it is my choke point.
-Third wave easier cuz of deco and cuz click pattern is the same and 1:50 is that nerfed? -extension and final cube looks smooth and easier than the original swi cuz of deco which i’m glad, except 4 the last jump lol.
Ngl, im going to say, the 2nd wave is harder, but only a little bit bc there are added spikes and the saws are moved a bit. The first half of the level is the hardest part, which is good since that makes it flukeable. I find it fun, it's harder, but not hard enough to drive ppl away from it. I appreciate all you wrote and all the feedback!
