hey the scene with the family ....... the lady died in june 2010.... she has left back her beautiful daughter and husband in the video. rip aunty robin........
Hi, my comment never referred to dread locks, but rastafarian beliefs. The fact that Isaac Blackman, or Bob Marley have dreads has nothing to do with their music or beliefs. What I do know is that Isaac believes in and serves Jesus Christ, but Bob Marley did not. So Mr. Marley's music cannot be considered gospel reggae, since he is not promoting the gospel but rather he is using the gospel to promote his rastafarian beliefs.
When I think of how these kids were abuses by their father (Shorty I) and the authorities just stood there and did nothing it give me chills because April's death could have been prevented! They were pulled outta school by their father on the pretext that society was corrupted. Because of our love and respect for Shorty we never really recognize that Shorty actions were consistent with someone that is mad! Shorty I, to me was an undiagnosed 'Schizophrenic' because of his conflicting views!!
@tvtubedog TV Dog, God is not finished with YOU yet, you are not forgotten by Him. The gift of God is still in you. The Lord is the lifter of your head, He is the healer, the RESTORER of all the years the locust has eaten from your life - all that the devil has taken, God can restore. Commit your ways, your life, your heart, fully to the Lord and His promise to you is that He can make your latter years greater than your former :) All bible truth here :)
I would not go as far as to say that it is gospel reggae since his music was more a promotion of his rastarian beliefs. More simply, the use of biblical phrases/quotes (occasional or frequent) in your music does not make it gospel.

is bob marley reggae considered gospel reggae since most of his music is based on the bible?
