I'm 34 and while I definitely like mellow music these days, the ferocity of CC's harder tracks are unmatched by most bands in the indie/electronic genres. Seen them live too, total chaos and destruction on stage.

How was the trip?
Ego obliterating, yet refreshing. I saw a massive skull and crossbones whenever I shut my eyes which was fucked to say the least. I went into the trip wanting to know more about death. I can safely say I'm not scared of death anymore at all. I think it's just a transition into something else, maybe even more beautiful than life. This doesn't make me want to commit suicide nor does it make me depressed, but death is definitely on the bucket list.

December 2019. I came across this song when the first cases of a "mystery pneumonia" were reported in China. It was a virus. Entering 2020, I was already imagining the scenario of a pandemic that no one, except for scientists and amateurs of the subject, thought of. 2021 and we are still struggling. This song was the prelude to the chaos. Sirens and suffocation.
The day this came out, all I did was walk in the night listening to it over and over until I could internalize CCs beautiful new sound, all the monstrous innocence and scratchy bliss...they always create something I can never comprehend. This is what faith is made of.
