When showing the player profiles, I would like to see the where they are at in the DGPT standings with the points they have in the season. Can you guys make this happen?
That'd be neat. Also, maybe a summary of the players' podium finishes from this season
I'd also like Jomez to break their chain to DGPT company however way possible. The leadership there is questionable. I'd rather not have them taint Jomez more than they already have. I also could be over reacting so take that into account to.
â@@tatewinters5565Dgpt could probably take away their rights to film the events if they wanted to. That's a slippery slope. I don't think this would ever be a good idea regardless of dgpt's leadership.
@@tatewinters5565 Jomez is still operating solely because the DGPT bought them out. They were going to fold because they couldnt pay their media rights that they negotiated a few years back. For now, be happy that Jomez largely gets to operate as they did before...because DGN could have just made them fold up shop and do their own thing instead.
@@chrispreperato5562 DGPT asked for wayy too much money. My bet is to price them out and force a buy out. Jomez wasnt experienced in handling that kind of strong arm tactic so he had no choice but to sign away his company. With their audience they could have easily leveraged a fair contract. But whats done is done. Doesnt mean I wont stop complaining though
The camera guys for JomezPro are MOVINâ. Didnât realize there was so much hustle involved. Mad respect.
Watching them at DGLO last year was amazing, watching these guys RUN up and down the hills with easily 50 lbs of cameras was extremely impressive
Having Brad and his wild form in the intro was a great touch lol
Yeah I saw that lol
During the 20 minute AB and cupcake putting competition, cupcake threw 3 putts. đ
But he didn't miss! Lmao
Came for this, wasnât disappointed đ
You could hear Gannon's mentality in the practice round when talking to Paul after a first shot Paul wasn't happy with. He said, you haven't lost the birdie till the hole is done. "Birdie is still out there." Apply that same mentality to an entire round and that's why a slow start is ok. Because the hot round is still out there and he just keeps hunting it down.
That Intro was fantastic.
A real homage to the greats, the legends, the players of the past, present and future. Hats off to Jomez's creative ingenuity.
âPardon me if youâre a hobbit.â đ
simon goes crave roller for a 580 foot hole đ«Ąđ«Ą
4 ft from hitting the pin
Nice to see some of old Simon is still in there
That was so sick! Makes me so sad when he doesn't convert those.
Why is Matt always staring down the camera đ€Ł
I don't ever want him to stop
They usually ask him to
Attention seeking
Spectrum behavior
That intro was đ„
Was that Gannon?
@@markmuth2498 yeah, pretty sure
@@markmuth2498yes
Who was the guy jumping around doing tricks?
Agreed and yeah pretty sure that was Buhr
I agree with Jerm on the flags. I would love to see every basket have a flag or some kind of wind indicator someday.
Glad to see a Lizotte on lead card again
Edit: Featured card*
Not the lead card though. Just a feature card
It's featured card
Glad to see Lizotte on coverage again*
Someone should let the commentator know that itâs not keeping your knees buckled that causes you to pass out, but itâs when your knees are locked straight for a long period of time. They teach this to soldiers who have to stand at attention for extended periods of time. Keep a little bend in your knee to prevent passing out.
Love Jomez. Best PDGA Coverage hands down!!!!
Gannons awkward stance looks like a giraffe drinking water
Yep. Thatâs it!
After 3 holes I was looking at the leaderboard and there were probably 4 or 5 names Iâve never seen before. Lol! Thatâs pretty cool!
Gannon gave a great read/delivery for the intro! Composed and dynamic with a little edge, but not over dramatic. Well done.
The only thing the intro was missing was either AB or Wiggins, smashing a disc!
Iâm a simple man. I see Simon and AB and I watch
This card is like aces four of a kind
Did Gannon Buhr do that intro? Was fire.
Yo but forreal, âœïž station
Sounded like it to me too
âI donât think Hobbits are real, are they? Apologies if youâre a Hobbit.â -Uli is the best commentator.
Great intro! That took alot of work for sure. & Gannon, you did a great job too!
Home sweet home! Been waiting all year for this!
Hole 7 is the only hole on this course I've ever aced.
Smooth operator BigJerm
Hole 5 energy is amazing!
Had never seen the pterodactyl throw before that intro segment. Very cool...
Legend has it, by next year this course will be upgrading to mach 3's for better catchability!
Lizotte on coverage? I suppose I will watch this week.
4:20 The guy just staring into your soul
Gannon did a great job with that intro.
I was playing the USDGC dubs just a few holes ahead of you guys!! That was a ridiculous save that didn't need to happen lol
For Uli's argument about the disc on top of the basket. The links are just holding up the chains but aren't part of the chains. So they don't count! :)
The intros this year have been incredible. I donât know who is doing the writing but bravo Jomez teamđ€
Hole 8. Legit the definition of a Simon line.
31:09 One of us! One of us! đ
Great video, thank you everyone!
You're very welcome!
Yet again another sick intro! Keep it up!
TALK ABOUT AN INTRO!!! I got goosebumps! And they got my guy Brad hammock in there LFG!!
Sick intro Gannon! You have a great commentary voice & you're genuinely funny. You definitely have a great future ahead of you boy!
That intro was pure fire!
What an elite feature card. Looking forward to this year's DMC
2016 top knot Uli was a beast.
Iâm with jerm on hole 9 with ABâs drive, I think it was dust from the hill side! Crazy!
This card is a total backhand form clinic
How on earth is Paul coming to that conclusion when the rules clearly state â⊠comes to rest supported by the tray or chains BELOW the chain supportâ
Yeah, I didnât like that take. I would argue no âtopperâ ever is in, regardless of basket type or chain âtouchingâ.
@@lorenbarnhurst paul just parroting he heard some degen articulate tbh
The one argument I can see is if itâs touching one thatâs lower than others. If thereâs a chain support above the chain that the disc is touching, I suppose you could construe that itâs in
@@Qpods is that below the chain support?
Love the intro!
Yo Paul, it's you never want to lock your legs. Like with solders in formation, when they lock their legs for a long period of time, they pass out. That also happens to grooms during their wedding. Gannon is buckling his legs. There is no way he passes out from that.
âGood thing it was Coleâ. Right over jerms head
Hey Paul the leg buckle is only for front to back not side to side. He will be fine! đ
Lets go baby!
This course makes me want to quit my job and just play disc golf everyday
27:04 Gannon with the Bambi legs stance
Brad in the intro!!!
"Good, proper wedding form" đ€Ł
Simon doing Simon things on hole 8.
Was this Gannons first Jomez intro bit? Felt historic
Jerm on 9: No steeper hill off the tee
Campgaw hole 8, NJ: hold my beer.
9 at Pickard is for sure steeper.
@keithfriestad3949 perhaps but it's also nowhere near as long uphill, and still at a solid 70° angle for the lines. Walking paths are there because climbing up straight I'd challenging with a bag
My wife actually locked her knees at her best friendâs wedding and passed out right after they exchanged rings. Itâs a real thing. đ
I got curious about Uli's claim that if a disc lays on top of the basket and touches the chains, it's considered in. So I ended up doing a rule deep dive.
Here's the PDGA ruling (807 B):
"In order to complete a hole with a basket target, the thrower must release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the tray or the chains *below* the chain support."
So no, I don't think that counts, at least anymore.
I have nothing against Uli, I'm just a techical guy who enjoys finding loopholes and whatnot.
Completely unrelated ruling that I found and haven't seen utilized:
It's generally known that if you throw OB and your lie is in a place where there's OB between you and the basket, you can move directly away from the basket (optional relief) without an additional penalty stroke. Also works after a 2 meter rule penalty.
However, the OB doesn't need to be between you and the basket. The restriction is that you cannot mark your lie in OB.
So for example if you're on an OB line that is parallel to the line from your 1m relief lie to the basket, you can also move away from the basket as far as you want.
Does a putt wedged into the basket tray count as good?
Yes
Yes.
The only one I've seen was Paul's ace that didn't count over the baseball field a number of years back. Haven't seen it since, but curious.
@@tannertagg7999 the rules are pretty clear on it. It was not considered in then, it is now.
@@kyleweir689 gotcha- thanks!!
Great to see ab playing gud again đ„ł
Gannon nearly saves the par from the tee pad
Itâs when you lock your knees. It doesnât have anything to do with buckling your knees to make you pass out. Lol! Thatâs why you see groomsman, bridesmaids and military pass out so often. They stand there for a long time and lock their knees straight up and down. đ
I know a hole with a steeper hill right infront of the tee - hole 3 at fredtoften in denmark
Big Jerm where can I get that hat!?
SIMON!! đŻđŻđŻâ€â€â€
@JomezPro I loved seeing that old footage at 0:05. Do you have a source for that video? Iâm pretty sure itâs my uncle and Iâd love to share it with him!
Incredible intro
jk. just got a tour glow thundy. pastry dye. rock on good sir.
oh man, HOLE 5 is where its at
"GREEN FLAG ! GREEN FLAG ! GREEN FLAG....YAAA !!".
lol
Uli getting feisty with Jerm
WHAT A LUNATIC SIMON ON 8
Would it at all be possible to add disc type and model graphic to all throws, not only the drive? Personally I like to see what type of discs the pros throw in certain situations
The content is very good
VERY GOOD
I was wondering why I wasn't getting stared at on the live coverage yesterday. I guess dgpt and jomez still have different camera crews?
Rewatch...he stared HARD during the intro and interview with Simon on hole 1. Like...hard.
I think that was a Glitch for the approach on Hole 4 for Simon lol.
This card â€â€â€
JERM I love that hat where can I find it?
Dream Card vibes
In good conscience, I donât think I could give myself the putt if itâs touching a chain link on top of the basket.
Interesting intro. âHey so thereâs really nothing exciting about Iowa. So I guess weâll talk about disc golf while showing old freestyle footage. You pumped yet?â
I thought the whole buckle your legs was the other way around, I thought it was " you don't want to buckle your legs when standing for a long time. đ€đ€·ââïž you learn something new
Uli taking 20 minutes to film A.B. and cupcake putting means cupcake only threw 2 putts.
Spoiler invitation
Hole 5 crowd rivals the 8 holes at maple hill
Who wrote that intro? Fantastic
i think if the disc is on the top of the basket it should count
Can you display all the discs theyâre throwing and not just off the tee?
I hate that wedged discs count they need to change that rule back but I agree that if wedged discs count so should tops
Nice Intro. đđ
Curiosu maybe you talked about it before. Are you bringing back the Putting game or some sort of it??? I remember you talked something about you recorded something in Coles backyard..
Just miss seeing the pros having fun and being creative :D
@@Afropalmen probably patreon exclusive
If Gannon had made the shot on hole 7, would it have been a "par in one" or a "hole in par"?
Who's counting? 1st Jerm says "Simon is 2 down, 7 back from gavin"... then he corrected himself by saying "I mean 5 back of GANNON "... Makes me chuckle...
lets gooo
Not a steeper hole in Disc Golf? Surely Jerm has played Bradford in Charlotte.
Whats up with the logo on Cole's back?
