Congratulations this is so amazing and such an inspiration. I do have one thing to note - and I’m probably shooting myself in the foot of ever working with you saying this- but the quality of this collection, as well as other collections such as the Nasty Gal collab, have not been great. The designs are so cute and amazing but the quality is significantly lacking from what I would expect from Maeve. I want sturdy fabrics, sturdy stitching, no loose threads, straight even lines. This collection as well as the boohoo and nasty gal collection have very much fallen short when it comes to quality. So much so that I am hesitant to purchase pieces again despite the absolutely stunning designs. I would be so willing to spend more on a good quality line made with good fabrics!
I would probably view these opportunities as huge stepping stones for her which could eventually lead to a collaboration with higher quality products. Would be interesting to know what the quality of her Local Love Club collection is like
I agree. I love how Maeve has an eye for fashion but I feel the brands that she collaborates with need to be better about the quality of the products. Because it affects her reputation, not just the brands.
So, if you were to just apply for the sake of it would you rehireable at Bloomingdale's now?
