  • Meet Lady Gravel Cyclist! She may be completely new to the world of cycling, but she's keen to learn, and hopes to inspire others, regardless of age, gender, or race, to ride a bicycle.
You can learn more about LGC in our Part One video - wp.me/p4V4se-cGp
In this video, LGC talks about what she's learned concerning shifting gears. More to come in Part Three, where we'll cover the details of her bike, or learning clipless pedals... watch this space.

Great video. I think us veteran riders forget how intimidating learning to ride a bike, shifting, being clipped-in, riding on & off road and etc. can be. I really enjoyed hearing LGC’s description of how’s she’s learning, and getting comfortable with it all. Enjoy the ride!

Hi Jom, many apologies as due to my ham fistedness , I pressed the thumb down button by mistake 😖. Nice video, thanks , and look forward to the LGC bike build.

I have been working on a similar project. My GF gave up on clipless pedals. To much difficulties getting in and out and fell once. It was too much at once. She has good endurance and power being a runner.

Good stuff, hopefully your GF continues to enjoy her cycling.

Someone tell me if a canyon lux could somehow become an awsome gravil bike. I'm thinking frame geometry will be the issue.

LGC hardly looks like a beginner. Steady in the saddle with a smooth cadence. Hand placement on the bars while Spinning Circles and her biomechanics are awesome. Peace.

I agree, I think she is a natural. I'm looking forward to getting her onto a proper fitting bike, coming soon!

Athlete’s of all ages usually have easily transferable skillsets. Once an athlete, always an athlete. From Couch to Marathon or whatever. We just find the way. Great job Team.

To each their own, just seems like a little over-thinking going on here… just get outside and ride!

I know right. The Trainer gets you so wicked strong in way shorter of time. Outside for long slow distance and building Zone 2 mitochondria fibers. Just saying. Peace.

Trainer is not our bag, but we had to wait for a few parts to arrive before the outside fun begins.
