@SHAI-HILLS Not really, but you messaged me on the ancestrydna account because there was a DNA match between me and a family member of yours(I think it was an uncle; I'm not sure). I think you were trying to help him find relatives or something. Anyway, you told me about the gedmatch DNA. We also tried to see how we were related but didn't get anywhere. We added each other Facebook. I said something because I remember you telling me how you were about to move to Ghana; I've seen things you posted on Facebook. So we don't really know each other like that but, it's very inspiring when I unintentionally and accidently find a CZcams video of you fulfilling your dreams you told me about in the few conversations we had on Facebook. You were talking about Ghana; and, I told you that if I did choose an African country to move to, it most likely would be Nigeria due to personal reasons. My late father was an immigrant from there. I do admit, though, watching lots of these African Diaspora videos in Ghana makes Ghana very tempting. I also think Namibia and Botswana are beautiful countries.

Welcome to Ghana brother
The climate is tough...hot all day every day, and all night too. Some of the more high-altitude locations in the mountains would be more tolerable. You can live under air conditioning, IF you have a generator, since electricity is unreliable. Of course, if you are used to living in Florida or southern Texas without AC, maybe you can make it. Mosquitoes are not a problem in dry season, but in rainy season, probably about as bad as swampy areas in Texas, except these mosquitoes carry malaria, dengue fever, and a few other things. You will need to be on meds continuously, at least for the first few years. Natives who have not been away for more than a few years can do without the malaria meds. For a taste of what it is like, try camping in southern Florida during the summer. If you can hack that, you may be ready.
@@maryagodoa856not all Africa is hot places like Kenya Uganda there looks the same as Ghana except the heat the weather over there is so cool all year long so no need of air conditioning but it's rain alot all year long so if u cool with that u good to go

This is second video Re:him I’ve seen. I’m so inspired. Just spent month of November in Ghana: Accra, Kumasi, Asesewa, Afinsi, Tema, Afeni! 2nd trip. Plan on acquiring land. May have to look Mr. Calvin Daniels up due to his vision. Love his authentic remarks Re: road block payouts. It was ridiculous and everyone knows it’s going on. My driver paid repeatedly. Seems to be what true Freedom looks like. It is difficult to imagine it , unless you have been outside the U.S. and away from the racism, violence and Idolatry found everywhere in the U.S.
@Mr Daniels and Amoah gave a top show , every part of the video is very engrossing . His stories from his health , public health awareness,government red tape, self reliance and projects on tap for the future are very inspiring. Amoah really got herself into this conversation, noticeably relaxed, it was like visiting the family’s country estate 🏡

Anyone looking to move to Ghana or anywhere else on the continent for retirement it's a beautiful blessing but I have to say you will have to adapt to the culture of course and it's smooth sailing from there in my opinion.

I am looking from Italy. I have been to Ghana and its true they don't seem to know about farming. Growing turnip and collard green? I loved and ate every morning the best and juicy mangoes...i am glad that you lost all that weight and eating good food. Its true that snails there are so big there, I am going to come to visit😂

I absolutely love Africa, traveled to multiple countries over the years. Entertaining the idea of living in Africa is great but I do think of healthcare/ health related emergencies as a potential obstacle living in such remote areas.

A retirement community with limited homes. I’m all about building communities. People are always looking for retreat venues as well. Passport privilege is real! That’s why I don’t understand Americans who refuse to travel. You could get a small shipping container, and just make it storage outside if you want
