Blue Lock - When you take Soccer (I mean Football) a bit too seriously

- Normally, I'm not a fan of soccer/football, but I don't mind watching sports anime and still enjoy watching it. Blue Lock is an example of this. Although this anime can be a bit batshit insane at times. Still fun though.

But i ultimately agree on your take. It's just like Inazuma Eleven, we're kinda pretending this is football so we can have some cool anime stuff. I realized it wasn't supposed to be taken seriously, i was waiting for the anime season to end so i could binge through jt.
Being brazilian, when i was reading the manga for the first time they kinda lost me with the explanation of the program they are in. There was some exposition about how the reason Japan isn't dominant in the world cup is because the players are too much of team players and not "egotistical enough". Lol. Yeah you need to be a good player and be confident in yourself, but football isn't only scoring, in fact, the best footballer in the last 2 decades, Messi, is very humble and team player. And there's 11 players in a game, 1 goalie and maybe 3-5 main scorers, but there's always more defenders than attacking players. They are way more important.
