Tornado going through portions of Nashville near midnight.
One good thing I can say about tornadoes, even as depressing and terrible as they are, it can bring a community together and with some hard work, you can rebuild, and come back from it. Love from Oklahoma.
@Bundy Baby1974 I do think about it. I live in central Oklahoma we deal with this literally every year. We had kids get killed gruesomely in a school. We've lost pets, people, homes, businesses... a lot. It's hard, but when you come together and do what you can to help your neighbor in the darkest of times... it shows that there are people out there who care. And that's vital in times like this.
From the North East, and send my love to you two and anyone else that can have the love and hope that it takes to bring communities together and help one another to rebuild....
Because dealing with insurance companies and the very government that we pay our hard earned money to , take way to long to respond and give as little as possible to help.
I pray for the victims of such losses and for the ones that lost their loved ones.
God Bless all dealing with tragedies ☮️💟
Man, how do you deal with these tornados, every single year in Oklahoma? I am surprised you still live there. You are one brave individual.
Depression isnt a feeling its a sickness. Try actually living depressed. You wouldn't understand
@@JimHerbertOutdoors I do understand, iI been suffering from depression for the past 3 years. I have to take medicine to keep it at bay.
The Sirens were going off and this Tornado passed right in front of my house
Omg how much time did you have to prepare btw the sirens and the tornado?
Nashville is one of my favorite places to go. It really devastates me that this happened. My condolences to those who were affected by this.
Some great footage. Tornados at night, can be hard to see. But not this one. Clear as day.
Yes it was
Yes it was
Yes it was
@@falsetv6194 You indicated you couldn't see the tornado? You could see it in the video. Very clear. Some people, not having seen a tornado at night, on the television or in person, may have a hard time, finding where the tornado is, in the video. Anyone who watches television, may have seen other shows about tornados. If so, they might be able to pick out the tornado, in this video. Etcetera, etcetera.
yes it was
stay safe! I live in murfreesboro tennessee, and I am having an anxiety attack right now because we are still under a tornado watch until 6:00am. please stay safe!!! sending my prayers to everyone!!!
Omg I know the feeling!!! Please be safe
You'll be ok stay positive you have too in situations like these keep a level head and trust in God to keep you safe
Thanks man
@@thegreatestshowonearth7623 Why would god keep
the destiny diaries safe and not others . Are you saying the people in Nashville deserved these tornadoes because they did not pray ?
@Bundy Baby1974 Actually the bible says multiple times that god will strike down the wicked. He used floods ,tempests , plagues many times in the bible to achieve this . Now he used a tornado unless you are saying he struck down people he loved ? If thats the case why not just be wicked if thats what god does ?
Worst part about it is that no knew about it at the time
Exactly right. I was watching the wind pick up until I heard that roar....and hightailed to the bathtub. That sucker scooted by about 0.25 miles from my house.

Went right by my apartment. Too close !!
Same here it almost hit my house i stead it hit my neighbors
Thank The Most High you are safe
The THE MOST GOD sent this to them saying to let his people go, glad you good brother
Glad you are ok bud! 🤘😑
So glad you are okay! My heart hurts for Tennessee and all the ones who lost their lives.
I was expecting this to be from several years ago, but it was uploaded today?! Damn! Stay safe and best wishes.
Thumbs up on keeping a steady aim on that thing. Toward the end, my Spidie Sense "gotta move, gotta move, gotta move right now" alarm was going off!
Nashville, one of the cities in my bucket list to visit.
I wish everyone there stays safe and sound. How unfortunate. 😞💗
Sending love from Florida.
@@Metrobolt49 Up to 19 now.
Nashville is a great place to visit.
Tornados.... A fright that you NEVER forget. Prayers from Florida! 🙏🏿 😔
Dude why weren’t the sirens going off
Probably no time. Tornadoes can strike without warning, often too fast for the weather ppl to react.
This is at 2 in the morning.
Well I heard the tornado sirens go off at 2 in the morning so I'm guessing they went off early
It happened so fast dummy if u not in Nashville don’t comment nun negative bye
Maddie&KenKen 2x Big FAX 📠
It was truly one of the most scariest nights of my life!! Prayers for my state. We still have a LONG WAY to go to rebuild Nashville. 🙏
Talked to someone that got directly hit by this in their car on the road a little after touchdown with no warning. Was probably weaker at first but he's really lucky to be ok. He said his car spun and it threw him off the road, windows shattered and just debris everywhere.
Borges there was plenty of warning
@@iamranndizzle3204 no there wasn't. He said it was storming like usual and it got super dark and windy in a matter of seconds he was in his car at the time and unfortunately it touched down right at his location
There was plenty of warning the problem was people were sleeping
@@iamranndizzle3204 shrug wasn't there
As a Missourian this is relatable.
Wow, amazing video. Prayers for the families affected by these huge tornados.
Thanks for posting !😱
The great part of Tennessee praying for you guys
Who are you praying to ? God just showed these people he hates them . He has a plan for everybody according to the bible and he just showed these sinners they need to repent .
@A I agree with u, but no one deserve to die. I've been here 20 plus years now everything u said I saw with my own eyes. Its different from 10 years ago.
@@Jalen9434 Have you not ever read the bible god killed millions every time his plans failed to work out . First born children were especially at risk !
@Bundy Baby1974 Exactly right . I have to presume you actually took the time to read the bible and not just pick out the bits that made you feel good .
Will you all just shut the fuck up with your religious bullshit already?
Tornadoes happen. Not an act of God. An act of nature. Instead of praying for these people, perhaps volunteer and help contribute to their rebuilding.
That nader was massive!! Just like the EF4 that hit my city in 2011. Hope y’all are safe.
Tuscaloosa?
Probably Birmingham or a suburb
Literally just left Nashville a few days ago .. completely lost for words .
I have a feeling this won't stay an EF3 for long.
Nashville got hit hard and the the strongest tornado was a EF4 in Putnam County.
This tornado was right near me and this was two days before my birthday. I am so thankful right now that I’m alive 🙏
this is terrible...I live in Madison so thank god I didn't get hit, but my dad lives in german town. Prayers to who ever got hurt or hit.
Prayer, the act of doing nothing at all while simultaneously patting yourself on your back for doing all that you imagined that you possibly could.
@@sarahann530 hey, I'm no christan but I mean everyone else is saying it. I'm an 11 year old girl so why you gotta be like that?
@@rileybrown6289 Ok , what are your prayers going to do other than make you feel like you did something , be specific ?
@@sarahann530 Bruh, I'm just trying to be nice. Saying that is just a generic way of being thoughtful. Yes, you're right. They won't do anything. But no, you don't have to call me out on it.
@@rileybrown6289 Firstly I am not your bruh . Secondly thanks for admitting your prayers are not worth a fuck . As long as you feel good though that's the main thing . ! By the way what is a soul ?
Looks scary, great footage, thanks for sharing. Greetings from Alabama.
WHERE ARE THE TORNADO SIRENS?!!! Oh my! In this day and age, how can a storm of that magnitude can be on top of folks in the middle of the night (in city and suburbs) and there be no sirens? They have been a life saver here in Indiana. Shout out to my friends and family in Nashville! Love you guys! Hope you get power soon!
They went off. Woke up to them before the storm hit. Was about 4 miles north of the tornado with a clear audio of the sirens.
I live downtown. Believe me, they went off.
This makes me wanna go back and watch the 1998 Nashville tornado 🌪
Prayers from MO, hope you are all okay! We had a tornado nearly touch down here in Ellsinore, scared me real bad as I was driving my semi to the TAG Center in Poplar Bluff!! Please be safe everyone, this year might be as bad as 2008's Super Outbreak!!!
@@Metrobolt49 Hey! I used to live in Eddyville! Not far from you! I'm glad you're safe! My dad and the Clardy family still lives there!
@@christianclardy5329 I think the 2011 outbreak was the worst on record if I'm not mistaken.
@@musicnerd72 yeah it was really bad but I'd like to think itd only get as bad as 2008, 2011 was basically no winter!
Praying for you guys Tennessee
I come back every time there is a bad storm because I will never forget that day
Why are there no tornado sirens going off on any of the tornado footage Ive seen today??
They were barely audible in my neighborhood
They went off. I live across the street from the courthouse, and there is a siren there.
F3? Possibly or F4? Prayers from Kingsport, Tennessee for the people effected by the devastation
They said strong ef3 or weak ef4
Ef3, they're saying 155-165 mph
@@borges3099 Thank you

Does anyone know if the person recording made it out ok?
So terribly sad. My thoughts and prayers are with y'all.
Wow!!! Great footage! Very brave!

Unbelievable footage thank you for sharing...
A field day for songwriters.
im lucky to live right out of nashville but so unfortunate and sad that what has happened to everyone else. im helping every way i can!
I live just south of Nashville in Brentwood and I could see an insane amount of lightning, and it was really windy and raining pretty hard, but I had NO idea this was happening until I woke up the next morning...absolutely insane...
Prayers
Did lightning strike the tornado sirens?
Wicked RFD behind that goblin night tornado. Only March and already violent systems are roaring across the midlands. Should be an interesting season this year. Be safe and vigilant guys, peace.
I love ❤️ tornadoes 🌪 videos
Night tornados are the scariest!
That is just freaky.. The night ones are particularly freaky.
Did it really drop down
This looks so scary

10:00 PM CST - Intense strong thunderstorms moved. Hours later, deadly tornadoes.
This has really kicked off as a horrible horrible year but I believe things like this can’t last for long eventually in time things will get better I believe that it can’t be to much of this bad stuff I believe that a brighter day will come it will
Oh my God that tornado is RIGHT THERE
God bless...from Fl🙏
I got family living in Big Rock, Tennessee.
Prayers up for all affected.
Can’t believe I slept through that :/
WOW! It was SO close to you! SCARY!
We are still trying to rebuild, thanks for all the prayers
The rain that comes in at the end, wow ...
Was following the nashville storm on radar just before it struck
thank goodness your all safe, prayers from the Keys .........
what cat type was it. that aftermath looks like a missile struck Nashville! Sorry for loss of life and homes from UK.
Thankfully we don’t get those here in NJ.
I live in mckenzie and my neighbors house was destroyed from this tornado it apparently started in mckenzie
Glad you're safe and hope your neighbors are safe.
@@christinacope562 thanks they're fine but but im worried about they're dogs they said they didn't know where they r
@@rxtrotapz great things about dogs are their nose, they know their home territory. Most likely they are cowered down and scared(wind scares my dogs) but I do hope they are found soon. Even a small injury can be bad and they need water plus comfort. Good luck to all of you affected, the long clean up begins.
@@christinacope562 i hope ur right i might not of known the dogs but i still love animals
Serves your neighbors right for being gay heathen unbelievers . They deserve it
I'm surprised that there weren't more power flashes in this video. I've seen some of the other footage closer to downtown, so I assume that the tornado wasn't close enough to town yet.
Praying for y'all. From Moscow Idaho
That is not a small one either....., thoughts and prayers are with you this morning.....
@@Metrobolt49 I'm guessing you were completely fine, with declining the invitation? I know I would've, those Stormchasers do try to keep it as safe, as possible. Although, there's always the unpredictability of some of these storms/tornados. I like to stay as far away as possible, myself.
@@Metrobolt49 Tornadoes scare me more than other more powerful, Natural Disasters..... I had experienced one long ago, no fatalities but my neighbor's house was basically, picked up and flipped upside down...!!!
The people in Nashville were probably expecting a tornado
2020 has been a horrible year thus far
This was 3 days ago man!!!! People survive god bless them
Love tornados. I think they are so fascinating. But forget how dangerous they can be. Especially when no one sees them coming
Wow holy shit!!! Great shot it's tornado season baby!!! Get ready 💀🖤 I'm ready for this monster come at me bro...
That’s my biggest fear. Tornadoes at night. I wouldn’t be able to see nothing
I was devastated of the Storm ⛈ so Much rain😂😂
I will be praying for the family
Nashville strong af. We will bounce back. And be better than ever.
I live in Oklahoma and every spring feels like it’s game on. I know Nashville has had tornadoes before. One of our weather guys said they should’ve left the tornado warning on and not let it expire. Hindsight is always 20/20 though. In Oklahoma the tv weather guys go wall to wall coverage for hours and hours. Literally seen them start coverage at 3pm and go past midnight. But we’ve had some really bad tornadoes. Prayers to Nashville.
I remember this night like it was last night
We still have ppl missing. Cookeville was hit hard too as were other cities. Middle of the night. No warning.
where were the sirens? didn't hear one!
Gail Geer they went off.
@@archiecraven6086 - good. cannot hear them at all in the video. I have 2 daughters living there. Precious .
Atleast a F3 there
ROZAY RASTA F3 took out my hometown in 2018 well tried to lol. The sucker was pretty big. It did whipe out most of my town tho. Thankfully no one died and hardly anyone injured
How can you judge that by a shaky video taken at night? Tornadoes are rated by damage done, not size.
@@GravyHucker pictures that people have been posting on Facebook. It's TRUE that it's based on damage than size but I will put money on it being a 3
tore up my neighborhood :(
I have alarm on my house 🏡 04:00 🕓 in the morning alarm start The sound showed on the screen tornadoes coming at 5 o’clock and the officer or the policeman 👮♂️ came at 5 o’clock to my house 🏡
Can you escape the tornado with supercar ?
Unbelievable video. Wow 😱
Looks like an EF-4.
Thats nice
Hit my building. G building at Meridian At Hermitage. The damage when the light arrived the next day was surreal. Two things that are said constantly that I now know for sure are both real & correct: An approaching tornado sounds like a train & it does it fact look like a war zone after.
I watched it go by the house.
Well that was huge
Stay safe 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 not the swim pool and tm stay safe 😭😭😭😭 my cheer
God sorry about that thing cutting through.
Just now getting power in most places
Dang Thats The Tornado Right There i Saw
My boy jelly roll and struggle Jennings are going to be pissed
I almost got hit by tornado in late 2014 but the river up north saved us and it turned back. I wasn't in Tennessee btw.
Wow this definitely wasn't clickbait that's for sure
Time to get in a safe place
Ooooo SHITTTTTTT 😲
Good vid. Too many tornado videos are excessively zoomed in.
Sirens should go off regardless of time!
