Rode 31 miles for Shitake Mushrooms last evening and loved every minute of it, especially the sunset with a beautiful lightning display in the distance. Thanks for the lovely video. New subscriber.
love love this video.bikes are beautiful and the music it is just really nice and her Wisconsin sweater reminds me of all the good folks in Madison, and Milwaukee that I met when I rode from Vancouver WA to Portland Maine and down to NYC, people in the midwest are super and that Wisconsinite beer is the bomb. Thank you for posting this great video. It is so relaxing. I almost went with a Polyvalent but I got a Rivendell instead but I do have a Neutrino that I adore and travel lots with. Cheers and sorry for the chattering.
Why do so few American bikes have mudguards? Here in England they are a much needed necessity because of the unpredictability of the weather. We know when it's Summer here because the rain is warmer than usual.
A couple reasons: 1) there’s a massive influence in the American cycle market by cycle racing, and there’s a feeling that “if the pros don’t have it, I don’t want it either”. That is changing a bit, and more utility-focused bikes are coming to market. 2) if you left off the fenders and just decided not to ride in rainy weather, that still leaves 364 days a year to ride in California (or so it seems, anyway) That said, I have fenders on my bikes, and absolutely love them. On one of my bikes I did have to fit aftermarket fenders though, it didn’t come with them.

I have basically the same bike. Even have a wald 137 and a cargo net on it. My favorite bike I’ve owned!
Love riding to the market. Too many cyclist think all rides have to be workouts
