Wo will be the A.P.C C.' s President next is an internal matter of Congress party. But the united opposition should stand as one entity if they want to come to power in Assam in 2026. Unity in Congress party is a must & there should be no groupism. Definitely Gaurav Gogoi will be acceptable as leader of the united opposition. But A.P.C.C & A.I.C.C. must select its leader to lead in 2026 Assambly without disturbing the party unity as personal interst is less important than party 's goal.
