John Cena was terrible in his first 8 matches because of his gimmick tho; not his wrestling ability because he was a more than decent wrestler even in OVW when he was the Prototype. Stephanie is the reason hes so successful but he would've been successful sooner if he had the Doctor of Thuganomics or HLR gimmicks sooner

Moot point, all wrestlers going over a match for weeks yes, but they've done it with each other for years. Look up the Macho Man and steamboat match....they really didn't wrestle each other outside of that famous match... Mach was extremely particular and Steamboat was an athletic beast. Paul is both. We can't hate on the kid, because it doesn't make sense. He's a prodigy. You can train for years and still look like shit (Cena)...
