- The Rocket Balloon Spotlight Event is a New Super Troop Event in Clash of Clans. Ice Cubes are collected from multiplayer battles to progress through the Event Pass and unlock Ore. There is NO new Hero Equipment this month so the main focus is Ores to catch up on hero equipment upgrades. I use the Goblin Builder on a lot of my lower accounts, it’s better than magic items for a lot of Th levels and upgrades.

Not gonna lie, it would be way coolor if they added 1 big event with all Super troops and call it "Super Troops Spotlight" instead of making event for each super troops
It would be good but I guess they plan to do Super Troop events in between special ones so they need to be different, plus it would be overwhelming to a player that’s had no access to them before

I think this one is a better event than the previous ones as it just focuses on ores. It would be really tiring to have another equipment release already. Props to Supercell for this one.
Idk I mean having a break from hero equipment is nice but at the same time, without it this is a nothing event.
I just don’t really feel compelled to play this when it’s just a troop spotlight with little new content.
@@wet0wl maybe but then think about tbe fact you don't have to go out of your way to complete it. You can litteraly continue as you do and you will still complete the event in it's entirety without changing anything.

I actually don't mind these events, it makes training much faster which is huge for me, less waiting around and with events I don't need to think about what troop to use I will just use all the event troops. And then more ores to spend. Overall there is nothing to lose.

I personally love the events. I feel as though they give the game a sort of side quest that gives great rewards plus I enjoy the new decorations each time
Yep, it’s just a side quest you can complete as you play normally and get free rewards, so I agree I do like them. It would be nice to have different formats but I’m sure they’ll get there

I get it, but I’m not. This one you basically complete as you’re playing the game, you don’t actually have to do anything different and yet you get free ore, even if you don’t buy the pass. So keep them coming for me, helps my lower accounts a lot.

Yep, it’s basically free ore which is always good
I love the events, the 30% increase in trooos training makes farming so much faster with a training potion. That being said, i was weary of another event...it takes at least a month to max the new equipment and i wasnt looking forward to having antoher one so quickly. Thankfully supercell listened!
Even without the training potion, the 30% increase seems substantial. It helps me a lot and allows me to complete my daily multiplayer stars easily.
One event per month, looks like supercell is hungry for money like never before
a paid event pass on top of the gold pass every month is crazy!

We don’t have any info on it yet, I’m sure we’ll find out about it soon. If I had to guess I’d say it was similar to Rubble Rumble but we’ll see.
To be honest I don't find that events "special" anymore...

I'd rather have these events every few months with more unique themes like the Cookie Rumble or Dragon Festival rather than just a new super troop spotlight every month that feels lower effort and less fun.
You could just ignore the event and still benefit from it.
The whole point of the event is that they are easy to do (low effort) but still give some content. Even if you say they are less fun that implies they are still somewhat fun and that's good for the game. We all look forward to seeing the more unique events but they take some time ❤

I like the fact they're making an event themed around ores but these monthly events are generally starting to lose their flair thanks to them being repetitive.

@@jk-galaxer1013 yee, i have multiple clash of clans accounts and honestly something extra to do, especially one involving earning ores, is a good thing in my eyes even if it comes at the cost of "events not feeling as special" - imo I can see supercell making this a monthly thing to earn all sorts of things, let's just hope it doesn't always involve new hero gear lol

Supercell direction has become very materialistic and just fun. Previously, when we used to see a player reach the maximum level, it was an amazing and rare thing, but now it has become a boring thing due to the more of ( Events , CWL , Clan games , CP ) that made the players lazy to competetive with each other as if it were a normal and unimportant matter 😮💨

you cant gain ores passively, you need active gameplay for ores...
The main ways to get ores all require that you are in a good clan ....
CWL , Clan wars, Clan capital....
So if you are a casual with some off beat clan with your friends who are super casual good luck even maxing one equipment
Im glad they're finally doing something to give us more ore. I've been complaining from the start, basically how i wish there was more ore cuz the equipment upgrades take a little longer than id like. I still wish there was a way to get smaller amounts of ore each attack, but this is a start

Every event is worth it for f2p as well as spender players. If you don't want to grind it's your choice but don't discourage devs for events as it helps a lot

Yes they were, but there was a lot of feedback that it was too much. I like how there’s a less casual event like this where we can just gain free ore and not worry about doing anything special. They’re still figuring out the cadence but I agree the Mashup one was the best.

Not really. For me, it’s free ore. There’s no difference than if they just sell ore in the shop, if you don’t want to buy it, take the free ore for basically doing nothing.
@@JudoSloth i just mean with the previous events with equipment as you are limited to a specific amount of medals and the best thing to use it on is epic equipment. Its like paying another mini pass to get extra books with the medals
@@GL3DE yeah, but at the same time it's not that important. Clan Wars and star bonuses can be enough for an active player to have a decent level of equipments.
Of course they put a little money shortcut for those who want to have better safety, but for how op some abilities are, you really don't need them maxed to 3 star someone safely

Because I said normally a TH11 cannot access the Rocket Balloon. It is first unlocked at TH12.
