The Type-89 remains one of my all-time favorite airsoft guns that I own. I only ever saw the GBBR on sale in Europe once and it was sold out really quickly.
Personally I prefer the look of the platform with the shorter magazines, making it feel just that little bit more unique. The weathering that you have done on yours makes it really stand out more :)

Yea - this is the standard rifle of the Jieitai Japan Self Defense Force - it is basically a Japanese made version of the FN FNC. Good eye.

I wonder how many rounds/magazines you get with green gas, I had some crosman bb blowback rifles and they take 2 co2 cartridges, I only got about 4 magazines worth of ammo before pellets started to drop, its 25 bbs per magazine so it came out to 100 shots before it started to drop :/, so co2 would empty out around the 5th magazine. Want to get a GBBR but not if its the same 100 shots before it needs refill.

It also depends on the weather but maybe about two mags:)

Usually the capacity of the mag 30-40 (a bit more in warmer weather) . I am still tinkering with KWA LM4 using GG. I just got a propane adapter with oil port to test.
I am finding that GBBR is not for the budget minded..... Good luck.

Hello I have a question for the community. I haven't played airsoft in over a decade. But I would like to Purchase A gas blowback rifle , and a gas blowback pistol. I would prefer the rifle to be an M4 style, comma and the pistol must be glocked 17. My question is what are good options for the rifle and pistol. Looking for realism, and quality. I intend to use them for force on force training.

it is basically propane and silicone oil mix together a bit more powerful than 134a gas used in Japan. Green gas is about 1.2 Joule so I was wondering if that will mess up the gun if I use it it is what most people play with with
