111th Running of the SF Bay to Breakers in Pictures

111th running of the San Francisco Bay to Breakers was held on Sunday May 19, 2024. The race was attended by approximately 20,000 registered participants with many non-registered attendees and spectators. The starting line was at 8:00 a.m. at Howard and Main Streets with successive groups of participants released every 15 minutes. This upload documents the race start featuring the elite runners and jumps to the bottom of the Hayes Street hill, through The Panhandle and on to John F Kennedy Drive, Martin Luther King Drive then past the iconic Dutch Windmill. The course concludes at the "Breakers" on the Great Highway.
