The major madhhabs are Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i and Hanbali..They emerged in the ninth and tenth centuries CE and by the twelfth century almost all jurists aligned themselves with a particular madhhab..These four schools recognize each other's validity and they have interacted in legal debate over the centuries.Rulings of these schools are followed across the Muslim world without exclusive regional restrictions, but they each came to dominate in different parts of the world.

this is the problem with some firka today..if there is some contradiction between huzur pbuh and one of the imam. they stick to imam. imams clearly said if anything of our teaching contradict with huzur pbuh. leave it.

TruthSeeker03 there is a reason why hadees is so important in muslim world..you guys will follow it but only if there is no contradiction with imam.seems like you forgot the amount of hardwork and efforts done to gather the hadees and what makes it sahih is the chains of the sahabas who were witness. also imams have clearly said they can be wrong. as per you they can't be wrong but allah him self said only muhammad salallhu alaihiwasalam cannot be wrong. and if imams are perfect why do they contradict themselves in some teachings. the right way is follow imaam no doubt they are right BUT if you have any doubt then see what prophet pbuh did and follow that.

TruthSeeker03 lol sahabas and huzur also were in saudi arabia. you guys are very smart..you follow imams as per your understanding..follow in fiq but not entirely in aqeedah. so as per you only the imam are not right in every way. imams being every where is funny logic. the dancing and singing fiq also has imams everywhere.
