84 year old rusty axe head restoration

This axe head was my grandfathers I was worried that I would be able to save it but luckily I managed to restore it back to its former glory.

For electrolytic cleaning, the axe head needs to be the cathode, that is connected to the negative lead. In the video the ax was, in fact, the cathode. Do NOT make the axe anodic. That will dissolve the axe head.

It’s not in the bath for long enough just so it can dissolve the first layer of rust. Thanks for your input though
