Nice to see all old sets, in a collector's guide thanks for showing!
Thanks for watching :)
no. 070 was my first set :) good old times
I was born in 78 so this is a bit Before my time but I can anyway enjoy this. My father bought lego sets to me in 78 already for some reason so I had a couple of late 70ies sets. My era is the first 5 years of the 80ies which to me is one of the very best. Love your vintage videos Bricktsar. Keep up! Greetings from Sweden!
Love the nostalgia. the 1970s sets where great fun, I enjoy the new sets but those older sets allowed for a lot more imagination.
Any chance you could do another video on bricklink and also possibly on the other lego selling sites like brickowl.
Thanks! I’ve been thinking about doing another BrickLink vid. I have only looked at BrickOwl a couple of times but the decisions BrickLink is saying may be the best thing ever for BrickOwl.
BrickTsar, do you think making a LEGO Vintage Town with classic town sets from the 70's 80's and 90's On one of my tables would be a good idea?
That ts is a UK catalogue. It says Britsh Lego, Wrexhsm, N Wales on the back page.
Here's your day 1 purchase of 2018: Set 4002017
OH WOW this Lego book is so awsom!!!!
Thanks! It is neat seeing the early days
I have set number 044. Funny how the spare page shows the union flag!! ( Correct name for the British flag) I thought they would show thier own flag!!??
I just looked it up, set 077 is the Duplo Pre-School Set ;-)
Yea👍That came out in mid 70s but they still could have used the number even if it came out earlier
officially it says 077-1, so maybe there was a set 077 before, but got cancelled before release ?
It's a mystery machine...
this is awesomeeeeee how much money is it on ebay? lol
Maybe because it was 1970.I have some of those 2D trees. Could you buy these trains in the US? I would like to have some of those signs and lights.
I do no t think the trains were ever for sale in North America.
Good review. So the back cover reminds me of the turntable. Is it still alive
It has died. I want to make a better design.
Cool collectors guide that. Nice stuff in it to(LOVE the Trains stuff) :P I do prefer the late 70's early 80's stuff better tho(when the Minifigure's started to appear) But some early 70's sets are still cool tho ;)
True - things kept getting better over time 0 except in the late 1990s - lol
BrickTsar Yeah ;) The late 90's I didn't like the way LEGO was going but thankfully they got better after that.
whoever disliked this dislikes nostalgia ;s; (i didnt dislike this)
