Welcome to a new episode of Victoria 3 A-Z. Today I played in Uganda as Ankole but instead of expanding to the rest of West Africa, I played tall and stacked as much GDP and population in the two provinces I had.

I feel like this game lacks a ton of mechanics to correctly represent the challenge of playing an African nation (Such as, for example, complete lack of some factions like industrialists until you research correct technologies, research debuffs and restricted diplomatic options due to relative isolation compared to seafaring countries). Oh well, I guess there'll be mods for that.

@@starhalv2427 No, every Interest Group exists in every country its just that if an Interest Group is below 2% Influence they're marginalized and are treated as having zero political impact on your nation. He just made moves to weaken the Landowners which naturally strengthened everyone else, and lead to groups like the Industrialists collecting large amounts of wealth which inflated their political strength.
