Hands down the best crew from season 4. They really got robbed. Every time I watch them, I get butterflies, because I've seen a lot of dancers, but their choreo is so tight & clean.. Amazes me every time!

To this day, I still don't understand why Shane and Lil' Mama were underwhelmed by this. Alonzo said in the intro that they needed to shut the building down and that's exactly what they did.

I think RC is the real champ of ABDC Season 4. I mean, their choreo was always of the hook, they always had so much energy, they knew different styles of hiphop, their tricks were showstopping EVERY TIME. I mean, what more could the judges ask for? No hating on other crews, 'cause I do like WAH, but RC was the true champ, I'm telling you!

After RC's elimination, they should've changed the name of the show. Southern Movement was another crew that was worthy of the top3, but sadly, had to go head to head with RC in the 3rd episode.
WAH is top 3 worthy but I would've put them either 2nd or 3rd. RC was by far the best that season. JC was the only judge whose head wasn't stuck up his ass when it came to judging this performance.

My thoughts lol. Yes long post I know 😅.
First off, Season 6, wasnt a total loss. IAmMe won, so that was done right. I would have been shocked and dumbfounded if they didnt win. IAMME’s brain banging was sooo ill! ICB winning instead though, idk how i would have felt lol. Probably rage. Shoutout to ICB’s “Nick Mara” though in his band “PRETTYMUCH”, they are so underrated and got dope music.
Season 4****. Imo, Monkees and Afro should have left in the middle of the season or sometime ago. I think America or the Producers, maybe some of the judges, were hoping to see at most Monkees pull through and do justice for the ABDC books. They clearly flopped in the Top3 challenge and were picked to be saved over RC the week before which was this challenge. It sucks. RC was robbed for sure. But that VMA challenge week, all crews killed it. So that was hard to find out who stayed or got boot. I definitely dont understand why LM and Sparks were going hard on RC. Good for JC to call them out, and tell it like it is and what he saw. Cause I too saw different. RC performed, presented, had energy, was clean, and they shut it down.
I think most would have agreed if Rhythm City stayed instead of Massive Monkees, they would have done the top 3 challenge justice because RC was an illest crew, they were dope and killing it each week. WAH winning over Afro, I definitely am for it. Had BP been on this season, WAH wouldnt have won.
      OTHER SEASONS...
Season 1, nuff said. They did it right haha.
Season 2, was anyones game for the most part. The mandatory bboy mentality that supposedly the show was going to be, I dont think conceptually they were trying to intentionally make that a thing. It’s when QC won S3, it felt like it would be. I will say top 2 should have had FP with SC instead of SoReal imo, because SoReal was slipping near the end. They didn’t bring it hard in the Top 3 Challenge. Let’s remember, SuperCr3w were underdogs, they had their moments where they could have loss in any of the weeks they were in the bottom. Time to time SoReal would bring it too, and they were killing it early on. Fanny Pak killed it in Top 3 in both the challenges they had, but better than So Real imo. Fanny Park was hella robbed.
Season 3: They did right. If Beat won, I wouldnt have mind. But QC deserved it. I still stand thinking Dynamic Edition should have been in the bottom in the Britney Challenge with Ringmasters. Team Millennia was robbed for their comeback that season and that britney challenge. DE and Ringmasters, one of them should have gone home early on. But for a long time crew, they have been since and post ABDC, Team Millennia has killed it and is still doing great in the dance comp world / dance comm.
Season 5: not gon’ lie, poreotics was good but I was also getting over them after awhile, and had thought they should have went home before. But they did the finale right with having them against Bluprint Cru Undeniably though, Poreotics were great too. They definitely did some wonderful things after the show. If BPC won, I wouldnt have mind because they slayed each week. Hype 5.0. In top 2 with BPC would have been interesting because they kept bring it each week too.
Season 7: done right imo. Elektrolytes were actually good. They were underdogs for sure and have auditioned for ABDC historically for the past 5-6 seasons before their season and kept being in the bottom at the times (like how SuperCr3w was in S2.) Post ABDC, Elektrolyres killing it in the dance world / dance comp realm right now and have been, like convention WOD, Collaboration Comp, and etc. 8Flavahz were dope too even being young and having two halves of its’ members from Cali and Hawaii, they were doing great each week, imo better than S6’s IC. MWC, devastated when they got booted. Many of MWC members were veterans from past ABDC crews in past seasons that didnt win, and yet again they didnt win. But MWC always brought it and killed it. RNG was hella ill too and i raged when they got the boot, they killed It every week. Their week 4 drake challenge was siiiick. They definitely deserved to have been top 4.
Season 8.... new judges had nothing on D-Trix, JC, Lil’ Mama, let alone Sparks. New host either on Mario. I think it should have had new different crews instead. Kinjaz being the only new one was a great addition. They were awesome.
      NBC WOD < ABDC.
NBC WOD’s judging is just not good in comparison to old ABDC S1-S7 way of judging. It sunks just as much and next to ABDC S8: RTVMAs. We can’t even vote on that show. And results, votes, and boots on the first season of NBC WOD, just absolute unfortunate especially on familiar crews that appeared and competed. Never watched the show again after that.
WOD OG conventions competitions > NBC WOD, since WOD before NBC was and has been a competition since then.
All in all, Rhythm City was robbed for sure. I believed they could have won season 4 just as much as most of the people who watched the 4th Season, would have said too.

@@xxjersxx Let's address each point in order... lol
Season 6 was so bad that I don't even remember it... and I have one of those freaky memories that holds on to trivial details. I was SUPER happy that IAmMe won solely because I couldn't stand Iconic Boys; nor could I stand 8Flavahs from season 7. Those kids were put through on the votes of their family and friends. No doubt, for their age, they were great, but the level of competition and the difficulty that was being brought from other crews deserved to be towards the end and not voted out before them. I think even JC pointed out the difference in difficulty between IB and 8F and other crews. I didn't even like the music challenges they had in 6. Every artist for each challenge was an ear sore for me. I liked the format of having the crews choose their own songs and choreographing the challenge (like the Fitness Challenge or Magic Challenge from season 3). Aside from IAmMe, Iconic Boys, and Phunk Phenomenon I only recall the crew Instant Noodles because of their name... but I don't remember their challenges, routines, or anything. It was all very forgettable. In any event... a horrible season. Didn't care for it.
As for season 4... Rhythm City TOTALLY got robbed and it breaks my heart watching that VMA challenge where their choreography was so smooth, in sync, and powerful. Sure... Massive Monkeys brought out their tricks, but they messed up during their choreo. In my book... if it's hard to choose which one was better, the one with the most mistakes goes home. RC was FLAWLESS. Throughout the season, there were little things here and there that showed the season was struggling with the voting. You're right... Afro should've been eliminated early in that season. Massive Monkees progressed much like Poreotix did in season 5... they both had their style and it was getting a little old after the first few episodes, but they started to evolve and incorporate more versatility in balancing their strengths with more choreo or added difficulty to their routines. I still don't understand why Lil Mama was a judge on this show. She was useless and gave zero constructive feedback on things they did well, or things they did wrong... it was all about an entertainment factor for her.
Season 1 -- It was good all around. Though, ICONic were a really tight choreo squad and should've made it further in the competition, and Status Quo shouldn't have been in the finals. The finals should've been all Jabbawockeez and Kaba Modern.
Season 2 -- So Real Cru shouldn't have been in the finals. That definitely belonged to Fanny Pak and Super Crew. I also think Supreme Soul should've made top 3 over SRC. Supreme Soul was really hitting their stride towards the end, while SRC was on the decline after the "Bring the Music" challenge. Boogie Bots should've been eliminated, Supreme Soul moves up to beat So Real Cru during the "Missy Elliot" challenge, makes top 3... then it's a true battle for the top spot.
Season 3 -- perfect. Dynamic Edition was easily the cleanest group of ALL of them... it was just a matter of voters' tastes in dance style. Nobody cares much for clogging and it cost them to get bounced earlier than they should have. I would've had 3 spot go to either Strikers All-Stars or Dynamic Edition. Fly Khicks didn't deserve to be top 3.
Season 5 -- I think Poreotix deserved the win. It was definitely hard to choose between them and Blueprint Cru. Poreotix evolved through that season. They started becoming more versatile with their moves and it won me over. BPC slipped up in the Music Video challenge, but they were still an overall really precise crew. They stayed the same though. Their difficulty didn't rise and they didn't stray from their strengths like Poreotix did, and I think that caused their downfall.
Season 7 -- Like I said, 8Flavahz shouldn't have been in the top 3. I would've had Elektrolytes, MWC, and Fanny Pak in the top 3 and see who out-shines who... cause that would've been an awesome top 3 to watch. Other than them, I don't remember the other crews.
Season 8 -- I love Quest Crew. I knew they were going to win season 3 from their first performance and no other crew on that season came close to them (IMO). Season 8 though... belonged to Kinjaz. Holy shit, did Kinjaz bring everything to a halt with their performances. Tight, precise, clean, innovative, and emotionally driven (speaking about the last performance)... they were always on point. Even the slower "Earned It" by the Weeknd was SO good. I was a little upset Kinjaz got robbed on this one.
NBC World of Dance -- I stopped watching when Jabbawockeez, then Kinjaz, were eliminated in the first season. Then, finding out that the group that beat Jabbawockeez was lead by one of J.Lo's backup dancers. It was a travesty. There's no way either of them should've lost as soon as they did.

@ABCDjjw Super Crew over So Real was the exception and there was a HUGE out cry that Fanny Pak should've been the winner of that season. Thing was... Super Crew evolved over the course of the show. SRC, didn't. Yes, they stayed true to their b-boying... but they learned to apply other dance styles and theatrics into their choreo.
Quest Crew I never considered "b-boys". They threw in the acrobatics every now and again, but the main part of their routine was straight choreo.
