    SMALL CORRECTION:
    at 5:48 when I am talking about minor equivalents, the text should say "a minor" instead of "c minor". Also at 6:18 it should say "e minor" instead of "g minor".
    The minor equivalent of C major is A minor. The minor equivalent of G major is E minor.

    Cb is B, which sounds weird to me. Why don't we call it B major scale?

    • @Persun_McPersonson
      @Persun_McPersonson Před 26 dny

      It usually is B major. C♭ major is a relic from a time before twelve-tone equal temperament, the tuning system we all use today. Before 12-TET was the standard, B and C♭ were actually slightly different, which gave each of them a different character.

      If you want to be able to easily control the volume of the notes, then a (good quality) weighted keyboard is what you want.
      If you don't care so much for having a lot of dynamic control, then an unweighted keyboard will do just fine, you can still get some volume control if it's also touch-sensitive, just not a whole lot.
