That’s exactly how he is! My ex helps out a distillery in Durham NC that produces Yelawolf’s liquor. He’s very down to earth, every time he comes to do meet and greets and signs bottles he hangs out with the boys around a bonfire and drinks with them. He even gave my ex his number! That’s one reason I respect him because he hasn’t forgotten who he is and where he came from.

Yelawolf is a very versatile artist. He's from Gadsden Alabama and was signed to shady records for years and just had his last album under shady records and is going to sign with three 6 mafia. Hes very talented lyrically and with his adaptability but he keeps it's true to his southern roots

You should check out his song Honey Brown which is produced by DJ Paul from three6mafia. It’s an older song, but so good and the lyrics yelawolf wrote are so true and meaningful. It’s a really good song.
Also you were correct with the American you song. For the people that think they are better than everyone because they have better jobs or “are living life the right way” and don’t have tattoos or stuff like that he’s saying we can see right through you so f you because life isn’t like that or about that and it doesn’t make you better than anyone else. That’s also why he showed all different kinds of jobs and occupations because we are all equal regardless no matter what kind of job you work, what you look like or who you love. Yela is from my neck of the woods. In my case, literally, since I live on 160 acres, out in the middle of nowhere, where 100 of those acres is covered in trees. I like him for multiple reasons. I am a country boy that loves rock music more than country(exceot some old blues type country music). Also, not much on tats but he has some sweet Bama tats.

Actually Trunk Muzik 0-60 is the best in the car for sure! You can listen all the way through & the beats are banging in the ride!
