When I began teaching my child the piano, I feel like my attitude towards music has changed.
The act of teaching increases the opportunity to review the score, it made me realize once again how wonderful it is.
I am happy to be able to reconnect with Chopin's works as I teach piano to children.
As long as I have physical strength to continue, I would like to continue to share this joy with many of my friends.
Some people may be critical of cutting out and playing Chopin's masterpieces. I wanted to convey the greatness of Chopin to children, so I decided to cut out and play it. This piece was written when Chopin was young, but it is amazing to see how he discovered advanced chromatic progressions at such a young age, giving the piece depth of expression. I decided to cut out and play it, wanting to convey this surprise and emotion. (T. Hase)
