It was all 100% accurate except I actually liked the Russel Wilson trade. The amount of money he was demanding wasn't gonna win a super bowl so I thought a rebuild was necessary and Seattle handled that situation PERFECTLY. I thought we were gonna suck this year though, but I guess not!!

As a die hard Seahawks fan, that is the hardest I've laughed since the Broncos lost the Rams 54-14. Tom nailed my reaction to every part of this season, as usual. Thank you Tom for being amazing

Ain't write back!!! Seriously, this was the most fun season I've had as a Seahawks fan, maybe ever. No expectations, no worries, and a buttload of straight Ws. Everything from an insane draft class, to Denver unintentionally tanking for us, to the Geno Smith story, to having a winning record and making the playoffs, and having ZERO anxiety due to zero expectations ("house money" some would say), it's been so good.
If this post doesn't have delusion written all over it. Cross was rated as one of the worst Tackles at the end of the year, in the playoffs Geno fumbled and he just looked at the ball and didn't make any effort to recover the ball. I hope you guys resign Geno to a 10 year deal. Your shitty fanbase deserves him for the rest of Seahawk history.

As a Hawks fan, I am so happy with how this season ended up. I also think that Seattle is in the best possible spot in the division. Draft capital and cap space. Seattle and San Fran are battling for the top spot.

From despair in March to kinda, sorta joy in 2023, Seahawks fans had a pretty crazy ride. Loved this Tom!
Honestly I'm a bit disappointed that Pete Carroll wasn't even one of the finalist for coach of the year. Don't get me wrong Brian Daboll was great and definitely deserved to win and Doug Pederson and Kyle Shanahan were excellent also but no one expected the Seahawks to do anything this year yet they finished with not only a winning record but a playoff appearance. I feel Pete should have at least been considered.

Pretty much everybody figured the Seahawks would be tanking for the first overall pick. I'm still happy Brian won the award since he did an excellent job coaching the Giants but at the same time it's a bit disappointing Pete wasn't even nominated.

As a Seahawks fan, we not only surpassed all expectations but now have a really good young core to build off (Jamal returns) with high draft and salary capital to improve our front 7 and interior line situation.

I actually welcomed the Russell Wilson trade. It's hard to build a Superbowl contender if you're sinking most of your payroll into a single player. Unless it's Rodgers or Mahomes. You can never have enough running backs when your primary running backs constantly end up injured. Now that all the draft picks are settled, I hope the Broncos improve this year.

They overachieved this year quite a bit considering what departed. As a 49er fan I always had respect for how Coach Carroll ran things. Seeing how Wilson is doing in Denver and how much the Seahawks lost in star power, what Carroll did makes him stand better in my eyes.

As a Seahawks fan, this season was exceeding my dreams (and expectations) by a lot. I can still remember how much I was in shock after the Hawks traded away Russ for Drew Lock, Noah Fant, Shelby Harris and a couple of Draft Picks. I thought for sure that they were going to rebuild. I never expected us to beat the Broncos Week 1 (Geno is still not writing back...), have two RoY-worthy players on our roster, finish with a winning record, make the playoffs, and so on.. I don't care about losing to the Niners and I'm glad that they lost in the Championship game.
We made the playoffs AND got a top 5 draft pick from the Broncos!
