A contract worth £2.8 billion was signed earlier this month to provide the British Army with more than 500 new armoured fighting vehicles. The Boxer is an 8x8 wheeled armoured transport vehicle, designed to move troops on to the frontline. We were given the chance to look at the Boxer up close 👀.

Dutch Combat Engineer here, we've been using the Boxer for some time now, and though it has it's flaws, it's one amazing piece of technology!
Amazing vehicle. Shame they may not be able to fill it with troops considering the sign off numbers right now are insane......

Brand new high tech landrover with good old dependale 50 cal on top . . . . . . 300 years from now, i swear they will still be using 50's . . . . and rightly so, damn good piece of kit 😊

From what I’ve heard the Dutch army is very happy with the Boxer so cool that the brits are also using it now!
Those things are just MASSIVE! Never thought I'd see an APC that rivaled the size of an MBT.

Any plans for a mission module equipped with the TC40 weapon? Would make sense to have the same phenomenal weapons system on the enhanced Warriors, Ajax and Boxer both from a supply chain and a capability perspective
I see it has a back-up camera above the troop ramp. That would've been nice in my bradley fighting vehicle.
