All it does is lead you to a web minigame where you're prompted to put down your phone on a flat surface and place the pet(keychain) on top of your phone then proceed to play a tapping simulator. It does not give you items nor pets, as it is only for fun. Also, it is NOT needed for you to put the pet on your phone. Hope this helps.
