This was legit my dream for the longest time. Hearing heavy machinery at work always sparked my imagination. "You could make some sick ass music with this!" And here you are, fulfilling that fantasy flawlessly, you absolute madman. You have no idea how greatful I am for this masterpiece. Thank you.
Check out an artist called Author & Punisher, it's more heavy and with less of a beat but it's still really heavy, grating industrial.
Do you often find yourself discretely dancing to the rhythm of macinery like i do?
@@BartBeOh, happens all the time 🤣🤣. Especially when me and my freinds get on a bus and the engine fires up. I always accomapny it with a melody that I hum, and start tapping my feet and bobbing my head. It's fun, but I often get looks 🤣🤣.
SERIOUSLY!!! I'm always so disappointed because when I first heard the term "heavy metal" as a kid I thought it was gonna be industrial, and even then it feels like most industrial is just doing NIN with synths when what I really want is just the dark clanging, whirring, jamming, etc. of factory equipment

Why do I see so many comments saying this??? Early youtube was nothing like this lolol.
90s commercials, sure. But youtube? Nah
@@sonic-bb I don't get how your not getting early CZcams vibes from this. Compare editing now a days. To the editing of the mid to late 2000's. Tons of filter effects, super fast cuts from one thing to another to give that sense of craziness, the awkward "camera right in your face" shots,
I see what you mean about 90's commercials though. The animated teeth section really brings back the 90's vibe
@TheHonorlord lol yup the animated teeth sections and the super zoomed in face shots lol.
well it could just be me and peeps in my area, but youtube in the early 2ks, and 2010-2011, was mainly dominated by AMVs (animated music videos), skits, and video game walkthroughs (by people that actually knew the games inside and out. lets plays werent a thing yet). @@EnigmaGameMaster can you explain to me why or when you almost cried please?
@@SuperUvix Yes, it's around 53 seconds when the high melody kicked in that I started having thoughts and feelings, there were many, but mostly it boils down to the fact that even we are all machines, biological maybe but still we're all machines creating machines, and I felt a connection to God right there; I always felt that God must be the first machine out of nothing/zero and I feel God is proud to witness us having evolved to the point that we're now creating perfectly engineered machines ourselves which are getting closer and closer to being able to reproduce themselves. It may not be exactly the truth but it is what I inherently felt through those thoughts.

This strikes such a familiar feeling of discovering the absolute multitude of amazing and talented D&B artists back in the late 2000s when this sorta music started to skyrocket dramatically. Late nights listening to artists like Pendulum, Sub Focus, Camo & Krooked, Noisia, The Qemists, Delta Heavy, everyone from labels like Monstercat, NCS, Viper, Ram, Hospital, UKF, the list goes on and on and on and *ON.* I fell so deeply in love with electronic music back then that it's been my favorite above all else, especially drum and bass.

You missed out on the early days. Hold your colour was heavily influenced by Jungle and man, Jungle was the shit. The song 'Mega City Industry' by Ital Tek comes to mind
@@cliffgoodbye
Still not quite what I'm looking for, but a good suggestion, nonetheless. I love the music that has that cold, precise clanking, buzzing, whirring, and stamping of machines on an assembly line. You get the feel that all they're doing is what they were programmed to do, but it all synchronises in this clean, precise, rhythmic, almost musical way. That's what the intro bit to this feels like to me. Machines being machines, doing nothing more than working in tandem to their own unified rhythm.
