Oh wow loved visiting tsavo national park ….in there and Nairobi is an amazing trust the Sheldrick trust that saves elephants ..the orphans from any age are sent to Nairobi orphanage then to different parts of Tsavo …lovely people we made many friends .stayed in Mombasa …

Sarah I remember when I went on a mission trip to Kenya and we were out and about. We saw a man carrying a 55-inch TV on the back of his little motorcycle. Another day we saw a man with a helmet on and four children as well. Without any helmets I loved my time in Kenya

Hi Será.. I live in Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean.. That grocery hall would cost about $800.00 here, which converts to a little over US $110.00
I'm from Trini and that haul was not costing so much. Smh

So fresh food is affordable there , it’s just processed foods that are expensive? I can’t imagine being able to buy an avocado for 25¢. So many beautiful fruits and vegetables, what a blessing! Thank you for taking us with you on your vacation. My eyes were opened on your last visit because it wasn’t what I expected, it’s so much more diverse.

YES, plant the sour cherry trees! At least 2! I grew up in Denver and we had them in our back yard, they are terrible to eat fresh, but canning and sweetening them for later use, they're delicious. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to do these videos while on this kind of trip! Thank you so much, I'm finding all of the things so interesting and beautiful.
I personally love the curly hair. I’m glad you are in Kenya and surrounded by all 11 kids. Better than therapy. I think most of us who have been following you for years can guess what the big surprise is but I will not say anything so I don’t spoil it. You are living my dream! We have just spent a month in Vietnam and their markets are very similar to the one you are shopping at. Such interesting fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and many other things. So different from our sanitised supermarkets in my normal world.
