I have had people say that these deleted scenes are not on their dvd's or listed in the menu section of their dvd's, these deleted scenes came from the special edition, that came with Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, the ones on the special edition will appear much smaller because these have been stretched out to fill the screen. - Komedie
The deleted scene when Happy confronts Ben Stillers character in person, and throws him out the window should’ve been in the movie
I knew i wasn't crazy...i saw that scene one time on tv but never again and noone else ever knew what i was talking about lol
They had extra scenes where he abused the seniors, too. So it was even sweeter when he got his comeuppance.

I actually think this scene was important because it helped with Happy's character development a little with him turning the tables without getting physical. Plus it explains why "jackass" went full psycho with his volkswagon because in the theatrical version it just felt extremely out of place like why would he all of a sudden go to the extreme and run Happy over and you almost think that Shooter conspired the whole ordeal.
Because they wanted 'Jackass' to just be a crazy guy thru and thru instead of vengeance driven at the end. But that's just a theory, A Happy Gilmore theory!

Because Shooter *did*. :-) When the "fan" was there during the Celebrity Pro-Am and distracting Happy, we see Shooter paying him off after the fight with Bob Barker, and the distractor asks, "So I'll see you at the next tournament, right?", and Shooter replies, "Oh, no, that won't be necessary. This was on national TV...Gilmore's gone.", but Doug opted to suspend Happy instead of firing him due to the ratings boost they got from Happy being part of the tour.
So, after the (I think) first hole of the last course, Shooter called him and said, "This call's about business. I need you *here*...in the *morning*.", hence why he drove on the course directly behind Happy with the express intent to run him down, but he drove off course and smashed the TV tower which almost clinched the win for Shooter, but, thanks to Happy and Chubbs perfecting his short game at the mini-golf course (with a maze similar to the setup of the TV tower), Shooter lost and Happy won.
(My apologies for the overabundance of information; I've seen this movie far too often for my own good. lol) 🙂

Made perfect sense. I get that this comedy movie is not meant to be taken seriously, but it doesn't mean it can't have smart moments. Plus it would add to the humor that Virginia secretly beats up the "jackass" guy with a ko punches.

I can't believe I'm discovering this just now. This explains why the heckler ran over Happy. Shooter's unfair, but there's no way he would tell his lackey to do that.
True, and yet for shooter that would be more out of a desire to not be in anway connected to Donald. I mean, attempted murder, attempted vehicular murder no less. Shooter knew that while Donalds antics would be effective, they'd make him, Shooter, look worse than he already was if exposed. Personally, I hope he did get exposed after the attempted theft of the Jacket.

You have to love that Shooter's plans backfired in this scene. The heckler had no reaction of the crowd, and Happy turned the fold to the heckler. Then, the crowd started heckling Shooter out of spite.
In an actual golf tournament he'd be ejected from the course and banned.

And no one wins a one day local tournament and gets on tour for an entire season. Also, you don’t actually get paid for coming in dead last, you have to make the cut. This is why it’s called a MOVIE. It’s not a documentary.
Scenes that where definitely better left out...bravo to the editing department
No idea why people keep saying these scenes are horrible. They make the Heckler running over Happy and Happy catching up to Shooter's score make more sense than it does in the normal edit.
It's the lack of editing that makes them look and sound off. But this is how all the scenes look like before they add the music and importantly the golfing commentators audio. Makes it feel much more like a golf match and movie at the same time.

@@______brazil It kinda did. The dude drives onto the green later and runs over Happy and weakens a tower, which takes away Happys power shot, and puts a big obstacle into the final shot. But it was an odd escalation for him to run him down like that, but this explains why that happened.
But yeah, not 100% necessary, and otherwise the scene kind of drags and there's not any good laughs.

This is essentially what the Waste Management Open, however the crowd at the Waste Management Open is rowdier......and intoxicated.
Despite these scenes being cringe you gotta admit the scene with Happy asking mr jackass guy to teach him how to play was funny as fuck.
Denis Duggan should have never deleted this scene it was funny and satisfying seeing jeering get his comapince and being quiet and humiliated 😅

Cut scenes like this make you really appreciate the behind the scenes under appreciated work that gets done by the editing staff. To filter through everything that is filmed keeping in mind the story that needs to be told and the general feel of a film within the screen time allotted is no easy task. It’s easy in retrospect having seen a movie to say oh well of course they would drop what they dropped and kept what they kept but before it’s made, these crews have hours of footage and multiple takes of key elements and fluff to run thought and in the end they really can make or break a movies success. This scene here is a good example. That shooter drone was straight up annoying and the jackass guy in this part almost made his character cringeworthy instead of funny. It’s all in the editing.

I felt that was the idea. The heckler exhausted what little material he had the last time so he just comes off as pathetic here. Allowing Happy to talk back to him with ease.
I also wish they also taunted "jackass" to Donald the same way they taunted Shooter after how Happy made him eat his words.

This is so funny, love how this movie made me fall in love with that word. Love how that old guy at 1:02 cracks up over the putts/putz thing, and then making a jackass out of the jackass guy at the end is hilarious.
What I love about this movie is that all the antics that go on with the crowd will get them kicked out or worse. Especially the heckler! Everyone will call him a "jackass" when he gets escorted out
I really wish this wasn't cut. I always hated the jackass guy got away without any form of humiliation. I mean sure the last we see of him is being chased by security after trying to run Happy down with his car. At least in this scene he gets publically humiliated when Happy calls him out on his heckling.
Well hey he teached him that lesson! Screw hecklers, gave it a greater alternative to that particular character.

I can see why these scenes were cut, they're just not very good compared to the rest of the movie. The scene were Gilmore calls out the heckler is pretty funny though, and Christoffer McDonald sells it 100% with his facial expressions at 4:49, but it still wouldn't have add anything to the movie as a whole.
