Same model 2021, got the 3060 variant, using it for 2 months so far I haven't experience the disconnection problems in wifi and bluetooth, thank God! thanks for your reviews I watched it all.

it's been 4 months since i got my TUF F15 with i7 12th gen RTX 4060, and i couldn't be impressed on mine more 🥰 shortly prior to my country's Lunar New year (dragon) i upgraded its C disk (windows boot drive) using my new samsung 990 pro 2TB, now it runs way even faster than before ❤️🔥

Wait for an year, first issue will be the rattling fan, then charging issue followed by blown-out charge controller & yet more to come.

@@anand.b6883 i have no issues so far (only the ones prior to 2022), even after my said ssd upgrade. however during first 2 weeks when purchasing my asus laptop i got 3 BSODs with the stopcode about page fault, later i diagnosed my asus laptop & no issues detected 🧐. windows 11 wasn't really great to my experience though

Hey dude, don't know if this will be of any help but know that although ddr5 is indeed better, it's a tad more expansive to replace/upgrade. Also, here in my country, ROG's line is considerably more expansive than the TUF and, as much as I'm aware, ROG's built quality is slightly better. I, myself, am getting a TUF, but if the price difference wasn't so big I'd get a ROG. Hope this helps in some way, good luck.

Still having the wifi problem which also tends to make Bluetooth disappear once and awhile. Even after fully updating to the most recent windows update. Have rolled back and reinstalled my drivers multiple times with no fix.

I'm using Lexar and Samsung RAM, if that crucial matches your current ram specs, you can go for it! Check for the timings, speed, etc to run on dual channel mode. 16GB is enough, if you're doing something like streaming or some professional work, you can add more!

hello, do you think that GTA 6 can be played on this laptop in optimal conditions? with Dlss Balanced and FSR 3 mod Frame Generation should be able to run Gta 6 in at least 60 fps with average graphics I think, what do you think? I recommend playing Single Player games with FSR 3 Frame Generation mode, because it works almost the same as Dlss 3, only that it is also available on RTX series 3000 and 2000 cards, and the fps boost can be 20-30 fps- hours minimum.
Yes, not really sure how grand the GTA 6 release would be but for sure on moderate low settings, it's achievable!

I been using my asus tuf f15 for the last 4 years, with a old gtx 1650 and the only thing i had to do was changing the termal paste and cleaning the dust 1 year ago and is like new

Bro I’ve got like a driver issue problem since I updated the latest asus framework from aumoury create. Since the I have got like random black screen with cursor crashes like 4 days a time.Should I go ask the asus retails shops for that specific fix ? My model is FX507VU 2023 with i7 13700H and 4050 btw
Try restore point first on your windows, if still has the problems, much better go to asus retails shop!

i have the 2023 model fx-507zc and after 3 months using, the power button not turning on the system! i have to hold it for about 30 seconds and waiting for one extra minute. sometimes it works! i did not expect facing this kind of problem after only 3months using!

i bought the same laptop, just limit cpu tdp with throttlestop and undervolt gpu with msiafterburner , now temps don't go above 60C [i lock the fps to 30 using rivatuner as i'm playing story based games], also if u r using ghelper we can limit the battery charge upto 55%

I dont face any wifi issue but my variant has an issue where modified memory increases and the of crashes, it feels like windows 11 but idk yet.
one more issue i faced is the fans dont boot up if you wake your laptop from sleep.
is this 8gb ram? Maybe you have to configure it on bios regarding the fans!

It's just on the inside and that's the heat dissipation which is normal, that happens even on 80c+

brother i have the same version but i am facing a problem. I have enough storage available but i get too much framedrops in my laptop while using chore or attending online classes when not in charging mode. Also when unplugged from charging or the power cut happens, instantly the screen freezes for atleast 10 minutes and then shows blue screen. why is it happening. please hellp me. what should i do with my laptop?
If you're laptop is 8gb of ram, this could be close to normal but on my experience, huge fps drops on normal task is not normal. Regarding the screen freeze, not really sure why but that's really a problem! Try troubleshoot on my ASUS software or go to service centers.

i have this laptop same configuration but 90whr battery . I ought it 4 months ago and i checked battery report yesterday and it 6000mwh less than the design capacity in just 4 months is it normal for a gaming laptop or is it baad pls tell me i am so stressed as i waited to buy laptop for 6 years .I dont want it to be dead in few years that is what i mean
The deterioration in that battery is too fast to consider it as normal, try reaching out to ASUS service centers or change the battery to a new one
I recently bought the same variant, but i am having a doubt. Is it okay for this laptop to be charged all the time during usage? I ask this because i experience poor battery life and also the drop of performance in battery mode. (I also have the batterycare mode enabled which doesnt allow the laptop to be charged above 80%)
What you're experiencing is normal, the performance on battery mode is not good as much as the turbo mode and yes, it's okay to charge it all the time as long as you limit the charging capacity!

That Acer Nitro would be better than this, i also considered Acer Nitro before back in 2022 but back then, they have a lot of worse thermal issues that's why i've settled with this, not really what's the current state for their latest models tho

Not worse, i would even recommend, one of the best value gaming laptops out there, upgrade it to 16gb ram that's good already! My variant is slightly better tho
the 3050 variant in this laptop and the 2050 is barely any different so no you won't see any dramatic differences in performance between them.
Can using lan cable fix the wifi issue? If i use lan cable will there be the wifi issue still?
If you have the WIFI issue, definitely to save yourself some time, run that lan cable instead of readjusting/restarting things for that wifi issue!

If you don't have any experience on upgrading, you might want to purchase your ram and upgrade it spot on, you can also check your exiting ram brand, timings, speed and etc and plan ahead to buy the exact or similar ram to it to make run on dual channel mode, assuming you're going for 16gb ram.

Regardless of the price of the LOQ, better choice would be the ASUS TUF F15, considering prices are quite low for now!
Check wifi module. If it has mediatek don't buy it. It will broke after 1 year

is 90temps on cpu is normal on gaming loptop?
on default/unchanged thermal paste/not undervolted, yes! (gaming only)
Have u update your driver for gaming?
Haven't yet, that's why the next gaming test and videos would perform better with updates, new thermal paste, undervolt, optimized settings!
I have mine for almost 2 years and the temperature still worry me to this day, there's nothing I can do to solve the problem 😂

@@hermezx I did change the thermal paste last month, I can see few degree drop on the temperature, correct me if I'm wrong but when I compare my laptop with some other and newer laptop the fan speed actually what makes the difference my laptop on max fan is like 5600 RPM max, while on other laptop I've seen something like 7000 RPM something, what's your opinion on that?

Oh man, this is extremely hard 😅 but for only 75000 rs both worth it but that ROG STRIX is so cheap for that and i think you should go for it, ddr5 ram already, proc okay for me even tho i'm not team red, gpu fair/okay as well! The setback is only the battery.. If i'm in your position with that exact same price, i would really go for the G15!

@@satyamchouhan3923 hey we have same situation, doing some programming and learning, i would never recommend a gaming laptop because of the core reason regarding battery life! If you're okay for 2 hours of battery life portability you can go for it especially if you really need gaming! Otherwise, go for Macbook, higher batt wh laptops or productivity laptops! I also have a review for Macbook Air M1, its uploaded, you can check it and this week, an in-depth review will be coming!

mine is the one with an rtx 2050, and my only complain is that the intake vents from below are mostly closed, with only a few open gaps, also at the top there´s more gaps from the outake vent that are closed I feel like that´s a fail in design, since airflow is really important when it comes to gaming laptops.
yeah, i somewhat agree, but on my experience, the intake vents is fine, it's just on standard, not that great, not that bad but combined with a laptop cooler, it's decent!

Plugged in means charging and using it while charging as well! You can use the laptop just like a PC, no problem with that, it's just the same but you have to limit charging capacity to preserve your battery health!

I have the i5-10300H + GTX1650ti version and i somehow got TLOU:part 1 with 40-60 Fps~ on medium settings
Haven't really covered TLOU, but i think that's on "okay/quite bad" level considering medium settings, would take that as consideration for next gaming test! Thanks!

@@pirato2471 it's no problem when using gen 4 ssd on your gen 3 supported laptop, as it will lower performance to its high end gen 3 ones. for example, if you install samsung 980 pro gen 4 on your m2 gen 3 ssd, it lowers the speed to 3500/3000 mb/s on read/write speed much similar to 970 evo plus also gen 3, as opposed to 7000/5100 like fully supported gen 4 ones. not all laptops with gen 3 ssd support to reversedly support gen 4 ssd, as sometimes it won't show or won't boot up for C disk

The build quality asus provides is amazing at this price. My friend's Lenovo IdeaPad 3 gaming is also really great only difference is the outer build. Tuf feels great. And the battery.

Yes, the i5 11400h is great
It can handle the task easily
But yeah some heavy task, like 4k level editing an all.
In those scenario it's not recommended. You can do 4k level editing I have tested.
If you do 1080p level of editing then good.
And overall till now haven't faced any issues, CPU intensive task, multi tasking, stuff work perfectly fine.
CPU in short is goat. Considering its price. I have got this for 53k inr. (638 $)

If you're going for best in value in terms of money, 2050 would be the best (only if you're considering $) but 3050 is just on fair level and would say still worth it if pricing is right.

For how long do you use it for a daily basis? I use mine for over 10 hours a day
For insane amount actually, plugged in 16 hours, continously using it for 10 hours (like yours as well) up to 12 or 14, worse case scenario, forgetting it was still plugged in and sleeping, had that situation multiple times but even that, this review still says it all!
(but actually the worst i did(unintentionally) is 2 days and maybe 10-12 hours plugged in, non stop and i was playing a game and i had to farm resources in the game LOL)

Because it's either in windows recomend mode or silent mode turn it to performance mode of you want it fast bt will drain battery
Set it to performance mode on battery mode and set the specific apps that you are using to DGPU, it will heavily drain the battery and that's somewhat how they we're engineered because they have dedicated GPU, but you can improve it, there's a lot of things that you might need to do, try checking this out!
