That needs to be changed because Memphis TN gets unbearably hot during the summer. AC shouldn't be considered an luxury but necessity to prevent someone from dying from heat exhaustion. This city is trifling for not allowing it to right for everyone renting a place to live.

Move out of housing provided by taxpayers and get a job and be responsible for air in your own property.
I know it is hot but I am over people saying me and my kids don’t have this when you are not doing anything to help the actual conditions your children are living under. Call one of your children’s father and ask him to purchase a couple of FANS until the AC is repaired.
We need to stop depending on the government for help and learn how to help ourselves.

I'm half African American. My slave ancestors did not have air conditioning when they lived in the Mid-South and they worked outside in the summer. I'm 1/4 Choctaw-Cherokee so I am literally indeginous to the Mid-South. We Choctaw & Cherokee have lived here fine for thousands of years with no air conditioning. If you cannot survive here without modern amenities then this is not your native habitat.
