    We got just back from London and Paris. Love how well connected EU trains are. Will take trains to most countries there as much as possible. Much more fun, relaxing, convenient, and scenic better than flying.

    how do you validate the ticket if you book it online?
    also, do you need to bring a passport and is there any security check? how much time should you be at the station?

      They checked our tickets before boarding. No passport check but i guess its because both Belgium and France are within Schengen

      @ourtravelsa  Před rokem +1

      Didnt get a stamp in either of the places actually. It is within Schengen zone and hence not required.

    Hey ,if We have a Photocopy of our Passport and stamp visa ,and I have original Driving licence from India , So ,Do I need to carry the Orignal Passport in hand with me , From Paris to Brussels OR photocopy is fine????

    • @ourtravelsa
      @ourtravelsa  Před rokem +1

      Since you are travelling from Paris to Brussels, ie within the Schengen, I think that should be sufficient. However, you will be asked for ID, so the original government ID like licence might be ok. However, it is strongly recommended you carry the passport. It would less inconvenience in case you get stopped.

    I am intending to bring a 24" luggage, can they really stow overhead?

    • @ourtravelsa
      @ourtravelsa  Před rokem +2

      I have attached a link to the Thalys luggage information. In short summary, it is possible to bring inside. Maybe not on the overhead storage, but at the end of each carriage or inbetween some seats, you can keep it. www.thalys.com/de/en/info-services/travelling-with-luggage
