      Don't stress so much. Herbs count 😊
      Herbs or spices count, too. And then you have frozen mixed veggies for soup or veggies in stir fries. Veggies in pot pies, veggies in omelettes, noodles, fried rice, etc...
      I'm having pumpkin and other veggies soup now with toasted bread. 😊 blending or partially blending the ingredients make them easier to appetise for those who don't like veggies much. Pr adding meats on the side. ❤
      Am planning on focaccia bread with lentil soup later in the week.
      You can have pickled veggies and fermented ones, too. Kimchi soup is nice with pork and prawns.
      You probably know tonnes of recipes, but we often overlook the "spices" or flavourings like Konbu or turmeric, garlic salt, garam masala 😊 and overly worry

      ​@@CCC9437 yeah I'm sure that's why they purposefully used the word "plants" & not "veggies".
      It's easy to forget, but literally EVERYTHING we eat besides meats & their products is plant; coffee & cocoa, herbs spices, fruits & veggies... etc

    Honesty just eating more veggies is such an easy weightloss tip, there are barely any calories in veggies but they keep you full and satisfied which means less snacking! (And less guilt if you were to give in to the cravings, lmao)

    Love how colorful it is, color is healthy. The more the better. This same recipe can be applied to any almost other diet and eating habit except a couple of them out there. Simply by just changing up the protein. Great job.

    this looks delicious I been a vegetarian on and off for 20 yrs long story but this time in my life this way of eating is the only way I won't suffer with the gas and bloating the headaches etc. it's just a better way of not feeling miserable after a meal

    Those are the 5 we usually have in the fridge.
    Can add:
    Potatoes
    Tomatoes
    Tofu/fresh soy beans
    Mushrooms
    Peas
    That's 10. The rest? Will look for the other 20 vegetables at the grocery store the next time we go. Thanks for the reminder.

    Looks like a pan of boiled veg to me. Very watery for a stew, needs to be thicker and tofu will just disintegrate in a stew. Try adding pulses like pearl barley, lentils and beans to thicken the juice into a sauce naturally.

      This is a myth. While they technically do contain small amounts of solanine and tomatin theyre totally edible. Like how apples contain small amounts of cyanide.

      @@sandracarli1110 soooo? You're not eating 100 seeds in one go. I've eaten apple seeds my whole life and never suffered for it (and cyanide isn't exactly a slow acting poison, it kills you or it doesn't).
      That's the point. To poison yourself with apples or tomato leaves you'd need to eat an absurd amount. People happily eat tomato leaf pestos all the time and suffer no harm from it. A little stem on the tomatoes is not anywhere near a harmful dose (unless we're going with homeopathy logic)

    I love Dr. Will. 30 in a week? That's only 4-5 a day. I have that in one meal. One with very few vegis. For example, one of my favorite one's is brown rice, pressure cooked garbanzo beans with kombu, and kale. I dust it with garlic granules, and red pepper flakes. Everything is pre made, except the kale, and its frozen, so I just use some low salt vegi broth to heat it all up. Sometimes I saute some onion in a little of the broth before adding the rest. Yum. It is quick, and the amount of vegis adds up quickly. A side salad even adds a little more.
