I have spent 3 1/2 days trying to master this weave. The longest it's ever taking me before to master something new is three hours. I don't know how many tutorials I went through but using your first method one ring at a time is the one that I finally got! I would rather learn something the slow way and be able to do it right then try to do it faster and be frustrated because it comes out wrong every time. I personally think if you choose to do chain mail you shouldn't be in a hurry anyway. Thank you so much for the breakthrough I cannot tell you how pleased I am but I'm going to go do a happy dance if that gives you a clue

You are the man!!!! First method is just what i needed!!! Watched a bunch of other videos but those were a pain in the neck! Using pre-closed rings like what??? Can't even see the pattern!!!
Thank you very much for the first method ❤❤❤ subscribed!

Dude. Ive got ALOT of 4 in 1 (regular and persian), 8 in 2, dragonscale, few other weaves under my belt. I've made some large pieces, etc. This fucking weave. I have exhausted every tutorial I can find on this, and wind up throwing my pliers across the room. Thank you so much. Jesus Christ.

WOW! Thanks!!!! The first (easy) method is fantastic! Doesn't matter that it is slow if one gets to UNDERSTAND IT.

Brilliant! It's SO hard to start this weave, keeping a start on hand to add to is a great idea. Do 1 at a time to start, then speedweave. **nevermind, you cant do both 1 at a time and speedweave; they don't line up**

How do you weave HP4n1 to itself?

  • @NiteSaiya

Absolutely despise this stupid shower ring trend. You outright say that keeping the rings steady and in order is the most important part of starting the weave but then choose rings that don't demonstrate any of how to do that. Anyone can look at the pattern and see the order of the rings. The only difficult "how to" element is getting the rings going without them getting jumbled up. And yet 80% of "tutorials" for this on youtube choose to use useless shower rings that completely ignore this.
